Tomorrow is my last day of vacation before I return to work. I am not sure if I am ready to return to work yet. It’s not that I do not like what I do, but I am almost over whelmed thinking about the bullshit I will diving in to.

Fuck It…

At this point I am at a crossroads.. do I clean up the garage and perform minor tasks around the house tomorrow, or do I just say fuck it and put the shit off even longer. Historically I will just say fuck it. We shall see if history repeats itself once again. One of the things I put on my potential vacation list was to update the abandoned book of boneheads section of this site.

Instead of update the book of boneheads I have changed the layout of the site. *shrugs* progress? Not the right kind I would say. It’s kind of like going in to the bathroom wanting to take a dump and instead you just fart a lot.

As a whole the vacation wasn’t bad at all. I got to goof off with the wife and kid, have my forth rained out, played some video games with my friends, go to the doctor, and break my PC (which I am currently restoring as I post this). The PC problem is just one more reason why I need to get a mac but the wife will have none of that.

Recently the wife’s warcraft account was hacked and boy was she all kinds of upset. I have yet submitted my soul to WOW but she really likes it and it keeps her busy. When her account was compromised Blizzard did a pretty good job helping her out and getting her shit back to normal. It took longer then she hoped since she was not able to use her account for the last week but once everything was up and running she was a happy wife once again. If she can have WOW then I should have a mac… yeah right.

While I was out with the family today we nearly got hit by three different fucking people whom were more interested in their conversation on the cel phone then they were DRIVING AN AUTOMOBILE!! before you start thinking; “you do it also.” yes, but I am wearing a bluetooth headset or it is synced up with my stereo. which allows me to PAY ATTENTION TO THE ASSHOLES AROUND ME!!

I’m just saying…

Everytime I have to attend an all day work related meeting I start checking my watch from the time the meeting starts until it ends.

Is it five yet? Most of these meetings are mind numbing and I would rather stab myself in the eye with a pen then sit through these fuckin things.

What makes it more frustrating for me is the topics which cover my job or department could be done in two hours or less.

Oh well part of my job… doesn’t mean I have to like it.

What a long day! I was busy busy busy at work! I have some nerd projects tomorrow. I want to set up my PS3 to stream XM radio ..

I think that actually may be the only nerd thing I do.. that and maybe set up streaming on my ROKU..

I’m going to be pretty worthless tomorrow. People at work wanted me to show up for the midnight release of Modern Warfare 2. I was tempted, but my special edition whatever will still be there when I return on Thursday. *smiles*

Hulk Hogan Celebrity Wrestling I would poke fun at this but truth be told, I will end up watching it.. I liked Hogan, Bischoff.. and I want to see Dustin Diamond get his ass kicked.

This week I am working seven straight days at work and that is not including the days prior to this wonderful schedule.. come to think about it, I will have worked.. eleven days in a row with out a day off.. yeah .. lovin it!!

I think the whole working this many days in a row with out a day off is some sort of underlined punishment for giving my two right hand guys time off simultaneously. Whatever…

“Chinese Democracy” Rumors: Release Date, Best Buy Exclusive I am not going to lie… I will be purchasing this album. Where do I go for a Dr. Pepper? I don’t agree with the whole coming down on that dude with the full power of the law for posting those songs early, but I have to admit that doesn’t change my position on purchasing the cd.

I have been trying to find an instant messenger program for my phone that does not suck! So here is the dilemma… I really like IM plus but I am not going to pay $30.00 for an instant messaging program..

It is not because I am cheap ass.. I don’t instant message enough through my phone.. EVER to want to pay that much money for it.. I have Mundu but it does not run in the background … which can be annoying..

I am trying to find a working copy of Verichat since it is now defunct.. but who knows how that is going to go yet..

Since I started the above entry I went with Mundu IM since apparently the new version seems to not be so annoying. It doesn’t support myspace messenger which is fine.. since myspace SUCKS!! but as long as it will run in the background I am happy… so far so good.

So… today was another day off from work… it was kind of nice.. I really didn’t do much of shit. I sat around and watched TV… cleaned the house.. put away my DVD’s (not sure how the stack on the floor was started) and .. nope .. that’s it I didn’t forget anything …

I checked out this local kc website.. it has a forum on there for people to post whatever stupid shit is on their mind. I signed up .. waited five minutes for the email to come across so I can be “activated” and now I am in the “you have to sit on your hands and wait for some jackass to approve you phase.”

Seriously .. what is with all of the security.. its stupid.. when you signed up there was the whole what numbers do you see bit, then there was a “trick question” to make sure you were from KC or some stupid shit… you have to be auto approved in an email .. and now someone has to personally bestow their blessing to allow your presence on their stupid ass forum by choose yes or not.

HOW FUCKING STUPID!! I mean I am on much more interesting boards with less ridiculous security.. I know this fucker too.. and his ex wife.. I went to school with the ex wife.. and we used to drink together .. he is a retard… I should email him and tell him all of this but I am sure there is a chance he will see this page and he can read himself what I think of his “talk” site.

I forgot I have a snubster account… I was so excited I updated my profile picture, and added a link on facebook..

I decided to clean out my gmail again. I started on it about a year ago… then worked on it some more a few months ago.. now I have finally succeeded in getting my email cleaned out putting me down to under a hundred emails. That was quite a task… I recommend to anyone to never let your email get that out of control.

I cleaned out my aol email too… fortunately it went like this.. select all, add to spam… after that there were like ten emails worth reading.. I then decided to go ahead and change my emails settings on my aol email to only receive emails from those in my address book. *shrugs* I should have done that years ago… however it is my shit account.. so… *shrugs* who cares..

Work really sucked yesterday.. I start the day off being fifteen minutes late.. my manager was kind of shitty about it as I have never been late since I have been with the company. He claims he is going to write me up and I am thinking.. write me up and there will be no more staying late or coming in early ever again…

We have a new operations manager and he is clearly a moron. He tries to tell me how great his last store was compared to this one and I asked him why he is at our store. “If it is so great then you should go back.”

Later he is telling my Mac experts how to attach accessories.. which is fine I value all imput.. however .. he *cough* instructed them to start … attaching .. Norton Antivirus … to a Mac???? I asked him if he had lost his mind. I explained a Mac would be better off being purchased and having an M80 placed inside then to have Norton installed… besides.. Macs haven’t had a known virus in something like almost two years???

I laughed… in his face… as did my Mac experts..

There were other reasons why work was whacked but who cares..

By the time I got off work I was ready to hurt people. Being it was mother’s day and I was taking the family out to dinner I was trapped into another round of dealing with the public.

I take the wife to Outback for dinner and while we are waiting the hostess looks over at our table and says; “it will be another couple of minutes.. I just can’t make them leave you know..”

Now picture with me how long it took me to get pissed off and want to skull fuck this stupid little bitch. As it was mother’s day and we were doing this for Vanessa, I look over at her and just smile.

She knows… I gave her the option of addressing the situation or not I was going to be quiet… and yes that was very hard to do.

Fortunately I have had the following day off to just sit on my ass and do absolutely nothing… I needed a break… or people were going to get hurt… *smirks*

After months of trying to find a way out of the position I was working and get an opportunity to advance at my job I finally get moved up. I am no longer a tech bench guy I am now the supervisor of the computers department.

I still have to work with my supervisor but not as his subordinate but as his equal. This will be nice as I am really tired of doing his job. I could go on and on but really.. who gives a shit. I have been moved up baby!!

More money!! w00p!! and I get bonuses now… hell yeah…

Very excited about all of this.. since my promotion was announced people seem to be pretty happy for me also.. I have received a lot of kudos. I am sure there is a person or two out there hating on me but that’s life..

Moving past work… I have been really lovin Ubuntu. I nearly have the desktop exactly where I want it as far as settings. My browser is configured the way I had it in winblows (Firefox rocks), most of the applications I used in winblows I have in linux… (oh yeah and its free) .. if I could find a blogger for linux like blog desk I would so be done with winblows.

I joked about setting up Vanessa’s computer onto Linux but I just received a dirty look… *laughs* my notebook will be next to be windows free.. I just need to make sure that all the drivers are supported, etc.

I did try SP1 for Vista.. ok it runs a little better.. but … never mind I just farted..

I cannot think of a time where I hate windows as much as I do right now… I am just so tired of the bullshit.. oh and my desktop runs so much fucking faster on linux!!!! AGAIN!! FUCK WINDOWS!

Umm so more money is a good thing…. Windows is a bad thing.. and I need to find where to download writemyblog for linux since the website is down…

With my new found love for my desktop, I have once again embraced another jot through GTA Vice City. The game seems to run a tad bit smoother, but I keep screwing up the game installation files with all of the mods I install.

I should just make a copy of the installed files once I get the game tricked out the way I want to.. I do not do anything major to the game usually. I make the police officers not look so gay by making their uniforms and equipment blue, I changed some of the cars to their actual vehicle names and appearances and finally the bat signal. I screwed up the game pretty bad when I tried to add some personal island bullshit mod I found on the net. *rolls eyes* Oh yeah.. and I added the more blood mod.

Anyway… I seem to enjoy the desktop more with the fact I upped the ram. I should have purchased one more 512 stick but $29.00 for and extra 256 MB just isn’t worth it for me.

In the real world.. the transmission in the van went out. I swear I seem to be on this losing streak with vehicles. I would be more pissed off about the matter had I spent more then 500.00 for the thing.

Umm … other then that there is nothing really exciting going on. I have been sitting around here for the last couple of hours waiting for my friend Shawn to get his over here so he can take me car shopping.. *groans*

I hate it absolutely fucking hate it when someone tells me they are going to help me out with something and they don’t. Seriously if you aren’t going to have time or you just flat out do not want to.. then that is fine with me too!! but don’t fuckin tell me you are and not show up!

With that, I move to go back to playing my game where I can blow shit up!

My daughter came up to me this evening informing me she would be the bread bearer at school. Being I am not religious my wife had to explained it to me a little since well I haven’t been to church since I was Ami’s age.

After I was explained how the bread and wine is blessed by the pastor they are to consume these items as part of Jesus. Bread representing his body and the wine represents his blood.

I raised an eye brow, and asked; “So basically they eat Jesus?” I was smacked by my wife. Of course I was not going to ask this around Ami as I am sure it would just torment her. *shrugs* So anyway after being told I as cruel, I pointed out I am not the one whom is a part of a group whom eats food and drink claiming after it was blessed it is parts of another man?

I think next time I go to the grocery store I might ask the stock boys where they keep the loaves of Jesus? Come on… it’s funny!!

Anyway…

Somehow.. it slipped my mind today was super Tuesday, thus I didn’t well do my part. Shit!

So .. I first wake up to my dog waking me up from the thunderstorms. Because she is a chicken shit and now has to go pee. I had to crawl out of bed and make the bitch happy. I left her out, one drop and she is back in. Seriously… I could have hawked a lugi with more liquid then what came from her. I was pissed off.

Go back to bed.. phone goes off… TWICE time for wife and kid to get up. I go back to sleep.. Phone rings.. TWICE it is the power company with a message telling me I owe money. We just paid them!!! Vanessa calls and gets the oops we are sorry it was a mistake speak.. Grrr…

Finally I give up sleeping and try to get on the internet. Nope… sorry outage or some crap. FUCK!!!

Then I had to go to work…

Too many customer issues at one time… but I get them all taken care of cause well… I am the man.. we hit budget… cause I am the man..

What a day…

My morning started off terrible.. I was late for work by almost an hour for unforeseen circumstances.. I was very frustrated by the events but once I got to work I found solitude… *sighs*

Except everything at work started acting all kinds of crazy too!! I had to argue with some peon from another store about giving me a computer so I could complete a very phat ticket, a computer bundle with a service plan on everything plus computer services .. totaling 250 for my department and more then that on services..

Then after getting the computer put on hold the dumb shit manager whom was supposed to get the computer for me didn’t get my voice mail!! I was pissed!!

My supervisor and I had a tiff.. because well he is just kind of stupid.

But they all seem to be loving me so… whatever… It’s nice to be king once again.. I haven’t had that since I left the shack.

I was working on a way to stream my music to my treo but I have yet overcome that feat… yet.. It was a lot easier for me to stream the itunes on other computers…. *laughs* I might have found an application that will work for what I want.. but we shall see..

I know winamp will work along with pocket winamp.. but I am already using iTunes.. and I am not about to create new play lists and shit for that… *groans* besides how many players do I need to have loaded on my desktop to stream my shit??? *extends middle finger*

It’s still cool since I can now listen to my music from home on my notebook from anywhere I have internet.. *smiles* Definitely comes in handy for the nights I sit out in the car while Ami has her dance classes. I can just jam away …

I have to have my music… *thumbs up* if I can pull it from one central location with out security leaks then I will be happy.
