Remember when MTV was cool? I know like well over ten years ago.. before it was filled with Toxic waste such as Jersey Shore, etc.. (ok the Snooki getting punched in the face is on my YouTube saved list)

Let me get to the point.. Beavis and Butthead and Liquid Television.

Now if I could find a good copy of Liquid Television to watch I would be a happy man…

I am sure I mentioned on here in recent past how I have two monitors on my main desktop. I decided to redo the server and replace Windows Server 2003 with Windows Seven Ultimate.

Since I have moved out of my running an actual server in my house phase, decided to have more fun on the multi media side of things.

Both of my desktops have dual monitors now.. yes.. both of them.. it is crazy cool! Why do I have dual monitors? Because I can.. isn’t that the reason why any geek does things?

The downfall to is all is I have to now redo all the crap on my desk. I have too much crap on my desk, it is a sad but true fact.

It would seem that I have gotten myself into more trouble being a geek as a profession then I have in previous positions or jobs.

I did see a multi TV set up which was pretty bad ass. I am unsure if the wife would go for that yet.. *smirks*

I changed the theme once again .. I fixed the google wave link … and the about page.. and a forum has been added..

Not too sure about the forum tho.. I only put it up on the off change my PSN MW2 Group wants to post stats and shit.. but we shall see..

If I haven’t already mentioned this, subsonic is the best way to stream music from your house to another computer, or to your phone. This holds true especially if you have an android phone.

I have been playing around with this for over a couple of weeks and I must tell you I have had minimal problems with streaming, or accessing my music over the internet.

I enjoyed Pulp Tunes, but subsonic bridges the gap needed to stream to the phone. Tried Orb and all I can say is Orb is shit.. period..

I finally mounted my second monitor on the wall. The desk looks less cluttered. I was going to post a picture, but the desk is still kind of trashed from everything getting scatted when I mounted the monitor. I am considering purchasing a second wall mount for my main monitor.. it does look pretty good..

If you do have dual monitors and want to have separate screen savers, and or desktops I would stress checking out Ultramon.. it’s pretty hot.

I moved my server located on the opposite side of the office to my desk. It made more sense for what I was wanting to do with it. Besides remote desktop is cool and I could roll to the other side of the office. Both options sucked.

The wife is finally on facebook! After two years of her giving me a hard time about it and calling me a facebook whore she finally has a facebook account. She signed up for one so she could…. play farmville. *laughs*

I am not going to be any more pleasant on there then I was before. Anyone who is following me on fb or twitter knows how raunchy I can get. Not much different in person so why shield it from the wife on the internet.

TV …

FINALLY MORE CHUCK! After months and months of anticipation of the new season we get THREE EPISODES in TWO NIGHTS! All three of them were solid.

I feel good about this season thus far. I anticipate more surprises along the way. It is almost time for more Burn Notice, White Collar, and Leverage..

I hooked up one of my external hdd’s to the PS3 so I could store all of these shows on there instead of swapping out the DVD’s all the time. It is highly recommended if you use your PS3 to steam or view video on.

I think I am finished rambling for now…

This will be my last post on this site for the rest of the year… yes the rest of the year.. yeah I know .. that’s only a little over two hours away .. (In central time anyway).

What year it has been.. what a ride it has been.. what a crazy decade it has been.. glad it is all over .. I can really say I am happy where I ended up, but the ride to get here was not the best ways.. but whatever.

I hope the rest of you have a good new years .. personally I am sitting at home with the wife watching TV. I might even have a Crown and Coke, but that is the extent of it.

My new years resolution? Simple, have more fun and continue to eliminate the unnecessary bullshit.

Is quite possibly the best fucking phone on the market right now. Screw the iPod.. the sidekick… anything by Palm..

I have gone on for over a year about how I have enjoyed my windows mobile palm phone, but honestly I find myself enjoying this phone a lot more. It responds so much smoother then my previous phones, the menus are much smoother, the programs are not bulky, the side screen is a sexy, and the slide out keyboard is very sexy.

I think the wife was a bit frustrated with the fact I picked up yet another new phone a little over a year after my last phone but this was a gift so “technically” I didn’t purchase it.

She got a new phone too.. I picked her up a Palm Pixi which she seems to enjoy. I am glad she likes it, her centro was getting beat up.

I think that is it for now… new phones.. new shit to learn .. and in my opinion the Android OS is so much better then the Apple’s Iphone. It just took Samsung a couple of years to get it right…

With the help of Google Apps I have turned the email on this site into an exchange server environment. This allows the wife and I to share online calendars so she knows when I work and it will provide me with a way to keep better track of the appointments she has.

The only obstacle at the moment is her phone does not support active sync very well since the Centro is a cool on the outside fail on the inside kind of cel phone.

Personally one of my favorite features it not having to worry about losing contacts or repairing the calendar due to duplicate event’s etc. I used to have my phone set up with my work email this way but someone had to ruin it for everyone else and it was shut off for all non salaried employees.

So… for any of my friends whom still read this and is interested in an exchange server set up for your email and you would like a nowayinhell.net email address shoot me an email or use the contact form.

A lot of my time is still dedicated to Modern Warfare2. I have been playing online more then I have the missions on the game but killin is killin. So we are good there. The amount of people from my store joining out “Clan” is funny. I shouldn’t make too much fun of them sense I was a “joiner” also, but I was first… *laughs*

Between work and Modern Warfare 2 I have not been on the web much. Yesterday was a pretty interesting day in Facebook land. Every post or comment I made ended in FML (Fuck My Life) in honor of all the emo’s out there who post some ridicules problem and end their pity with FML.

A co-worker and I decided to make fun of the situation thus yesterday was FML day. I posted more in one day with FML things then I usually post in a week’s time.

“Getting hungry.. FML”

“Lobster Mac and Cheese for lunch.. FML”

“Creed is on the radio.. FML”

You get the idea…

Modern Warfare 2 is quite possibly the best game I have played in years! I have only said this about a handful of games, (i.e. Bully, GTA Series, Smackdown vs. Raw) and I mean it. Not only do I get to hop online and cap some bitches but to do it with some co-workers is even more fun.

You get to see a “different” side of people. it’s good stuff… very therapeutic.

Put another notch in the belt of experience I have survived another Black Friday. To be honest I think this might have been the easiest and best one yet.

This makes me happy! Usually I find myself with some freakin special I cannot live with out but this year there was nothing. It’s not that there were not any good specials because their were plenty of good deals. Nothing jumped out at me that was worthy of my purchasing.

Something that irritates me about facebook is my friends. I am not referring to the fact that I have them but I ask this question.

It is a question we all ask, and a question that needs to be answered.

“How did I lose a friend?” this is usually followed by, “Who the fuck deleted me from their friends list?”

After getting mildly irritated while thinking those two questions I wrap up with, “Why in the fuck did you choose to add me in the first place?”

I really do not care whom has me in their social collection of friends or contacts but sometimes.. every once in a while there is someone whom wanted to get acquainted with you for whatever reason but now they have decided to drop your ass.

So you ask yourself, do I search my friends to see who left?

Fuck that.. if they wanted to leave let them be gone.. FUCK THEM!

Happy Thanksgiving

What turned into how I would integrate Google Wave (which kicks ass by the way) into my website turned into a complete redesign of the site, cleaning up of some really .. really old crap, and a really kick ass new look.

If you click in the pen / pencil in the bottom left corner it will load a menu Vista style. You then have the option to change the theme of the site if you wish. Pretty sexy..

First thing is first I do not have any invites for Google Wave. If I receive any, I will let you know. If you have google wave and would like to add me find me here: chris.ichrist@googlewave.com

I never realized how much bullshit I had on the back end until I went on a deleting spree. Boneheads is back in a much needed cleaner set up. Pictures is back if you wish to check them out, and I think that is about it for now. As for the rest of the crap? If you do not see it, it’s gone!
