The End Is Here … July Wrap Up..

July is not mere hours from being behind us ….

I am having a lot of fun at my new job with Geek Squad. I believe the hardest thing is being the new guy, it is an experience I have not been in for several years. The hours are not to my taste but I will adapt. I was scheduled to report to work at seven in the morning this morning. This is a feat I will have to get used to. My previous job played hell getting me into my store at eight thirty, when they really wanted me at the store no later then eight. Hours aside, I feel I will do well here, I am happy to be closer to what I want to really do in the job market. Nothing against my previous employer, but even my old DM told me this move mad sense for me.
I stumbled across this and had to ask why… Untitled Fast and the Furious Sequel (2009) I guess as long as there are a couple of people in this world left to watch it … *sighs*
The following picture was taken with my friend Troy and I at the last managers meeting before I departed. There was a head to head contest between the two of us. We were pitted against each other since I was his trainee, I guess they wanted to see who would win. We tied…. hence they ripped the award in half …
I believe that is all I have….

Yesterday I completed my time with the shack. It was a good departure, some of my friends came out to help me do inventory and everything was good. I hated they had to start with out me since I had to run Vanessa to the hospital in the middle of the day but these things happen. Everything was good, received some phone calls from other friends whom were not at the inventory to wish me well, etc.
I get home around one in the morning, and I instantly crash.
Six hours later, I get up and get ready for work at my new job, Geek Squad. This place is a completely different environment from what I have been used to for the last several years. It is a familiar environment though, one which I was accustomed to a few years ago when I worked with and on computers. Yeah I am thinking this is going to feel like home for me. I am stoked… I will be Agent Chris ..or possibly Agent Ichrist …. who knows… *smiles*
I am tired now … time for bed…

I get up, have great sex with my wife and I head off to work. I head off knowing two things, today was my last day at the shack, and I must have sex again with Vanessa before I go to bed.
I get to work and I start preparing for inventory. I also finish packing the rest of my personal affects, empty out my fridge, all while I hope we start counting at decent hour.
Around three o’clock I receive a phone call from vanessa telling me she needs to go to the hospital. I take off from work so I can pick her up and take her to the er.
What an interesting day I am having …. *smiles*

Three days and counting …
When I read something like this on Vanessa’s website it tends to make very … very.. proud.. it is true tasteless humor and sarcasim after my own heart…
Three more days and everything changes for me again … I think I might ask if I am going to receive a badge… *smirks*
I learned I have to rewire the room I have deemed as my office. Some asshole whom lived in the house before us wired the electrical outlets in the room to power off when you turn off the light switch….. growl!!
I cannot remember if I commented about posting pictures of the new house or not on here. I think I am going to post the empty house pictures when I get home tonight and once we get the house completely un packed then I will take new pictures and post those as well.
Speaking of pictures I spent a good portion of my Sunday gathering and organizing pictures, I had scattered accross two external hard drives. These pictures were taken from either a digital camera, cel phones, or people emailed them to me. Some dated back to mid 2004. I couldn’t believe how scattered they were. Fortunately I should not have that problem again that was a mess. Everytime I thought I was finished I would find more pictures tucked away with in folders some where.
Finally, have you ever spent time on Wikipedia? I could waste hours and hours on that website reading all sorts of material. Anything from Wrestling, Music, Video Games, Politics it is on there, most of it is a good read…
I think that is it for now… I have to go run an errand…

Getting everything unpacked or moved is a lot hard then it is to pack it up and move it. I never realized how much unpacking really sucked. Alas things are slowly coming together. I have my road runner set up and I no longer need to use my neighbors internet connection. Fortunately I was smart enough to both create a wep key, and assign a mac address filter. Both of these will prevent my neighbors from doing what I did to one of them.
I need to get my desk moved over to my new house along with my servers, but that will come. I will perhaps work on completing that this weekend since I do have the weekend off. I want to get my desk set up, the printers set up, and start configuring my network. I also need to go collect my tv stand so my television in the living room will sit on something besides a heavy duty plastic tub….
I have taken after Vanessa in the fact that when I am pissed off cleaning really does make you feel better. In this case I started unpacking and cleaning the living room to relieve some tension.
Getting service through KCP&L was like imagining myself giving birth through my penis. I swear to god I have never dealt with a bigger bunch stupid ass, crude, corrupt mother fucker in my life. If you think giving birth through a penis would be painful set up service with KCP&L. I don’t think I had been that upset since my district manager and I had an arguement two years ago over why I should have been moved to a store in independance, mo.
The stress is starting to deplete since there really isn’t much left to be stressed about. I am however changing jobs, with that comes somewhat new stress. However I am doing everything I can to make the transition from my departure from my company, to the new company as smooth as possible. With that, I am working on making the manager transition in this store equally as smooth. I feel anytime you leave a job you should always be as professional as possible about the matter. You never know when you may need your previous employer for something, even as a side job for extra cash during the holidays…

Day Two in our new house …

Yesterday my friends and I loaded up all Vanessa and I’s shit and we moved it to the new house. We are finally away from the in-laws and the retards. No more annoying Druggie… No more druggette…. no more druggie friend humping his under aged girlfriend on the couch.. no more guitar playing … no more horrible singing .. no more arguing …. no more fighting .. no more retards arguing amongst each other.. no more yapping pomeranian…
It’s just peace and quiet … believe me .. when don’t hear anything when you go to bed… and you don’t hear anything when you wake up .. it is the best sound in the world.. We took some pictures of the house before we moved all our shit in, and we will take more pictures when we get all our shit put up and put away.
Tomorrow I have my cable company installing TV and internet. In the meantime I am jacking my neighbors wireless connection. So I can get online and post my bullshit on here, etc. My wife cares about the TV for Shark week, and naturally I care about the internet so I can continue my reign of downloading every single thing I want off the internet.
I really do not have to wait for the internet to be installed for me to set up my office however, I want to wait and see where the coaxial connections end up installed so I can then determine where I can set up my router, wireless connections, PS2, etc… these things are important for a guy like me. 
I think that is it for now .. I will share more with you later… I have photos from the zoo… the photos I mentioned Vanessa captured from the empty house.. and then the photos we will take once the house it completed… lot’s to do!

Good Morning Egg…

When I was a kid I used to eat breakfast at hardees with my grandmother. We would either chow on some cinnimon raisen biscuits, or some type of breakfast sandwich. On the breakfast sandwiches there was always a sticker which said; “Good Morning Egg” Now we have the point of the topic let’s move on.
The stress for me is building up as Vanessa and I prepare to move. Getting boxes, putting things in boxes, finding a place to put the boxes to they are out of the way, running out of boxes, finding more boxes, running to the store to purchase items we will need (i.e. Lamps, chair mat, couch, new bed, etc.), reserve a trailer, planning times to pick up furniture and trailer, calling people to come help since we want the move completed in one day… since it is the only day off she and I have… good stuff!! *groans*
I have instructed Vanessa to ensure the camera is charged since I am sure she will be taking pictures every which way.. 
When I first purchased my Treo I found a case at a wireless booth at Oak Park Mall called Cellarius. With in a couple of weeks, the case came apart. The teeth on the back of the case which allows you to disengage the phone from your belt clip were breaking off. I returned to the store a couple of weeks later and asked for an exchange, and the kid was extremely rude, refused my exchange, demanded my receipt, and pointed at the return policy sign. He even gave me the owners cel phone number… THE OWNER!! (now if I was the owner I would have fired his ass for that one) I took the number and I gave him the obligatory Fuck you and walked away. Yesterday I dropped Vanessa off at the same mall, and returned to the booth with hopes of finding someone with a brain whom would be able to help me out.
After I explained to her my situation, told her all I wanted was an exchange, and I was well aware of the margin on a wireless leather case, (try 86%) exchanging out a defective leather case for a customer should not be a big deal. She apologized profusly and my case was exchanged… oh yeah and the kid was there so I made sure I aknowledged his presence.
Yesterday was also the funeral of my sister in-law. I never met her, but I needed to go since she was Vanessa’s step sister. It was a nice ceremony if your forget about the distractions of the screaming kids.
I still hate the pomeranian… I am debating on whether or not I want create a page listing the horrible things I would like to do to the dog…. I will be drafting up a new bone head regarding the druggie in law..
I think that is it for now … I have more news to post but I can’t just yet. I do not want to jix myself…

After somehow stumbling around on the internet, there are thousands of people in this world whom would beat me for the title, I am biggest loser in the world. What makes it better, they have posted websites to prove it…..

Last night Vanessa and I had to go to Wal-Mart to pick up some dog food. While we were browsing the store for various things we did not need, we found a variety of miniture two pack transformers. They were pretty cool so I went ahead and picked up most of them. The ones I did not purchase just looked two stupid, thus not work the money to spend on them. I did however ensure I solified the title of geek. I will definately need that book case from Seth for placement of my transformers collection when Vanessa and I get our place.
I already know how I am going to set up the office as far as desk space goes. I also know how I am going to wire it up. As much as I want to set it up first, I know it will probably be one of the last rooms I will get to do. The office to me will be like the kitchen to Vanessa. I am confident she will set it up her way, and tell me to stay the hell out unless she needs help moving boxes. 
I think we have the tv picked out we are purchasing. Has to be an LCD has to be big … I will be hooking up my ps2 and my other gaming systems to the TV .. she just does not understand .. I will make her understand. For her it will be football season…
One a final note.. I have been jamming out a lot to the Minutes To Midnight Album from Linkin Park, and the new Transformers movie soundtrack.. check them out… *thumbs up*
So lets review… I am not a loser because I could give a fuck less about Surge or Crystal Pepsi.. I am a geek for purchasing the transformers toys.. and I am about to nerd out a kick ass tv which will be purchased in a few days..

More Than Meets The Eye..

Corny title I am sure .. but remember, it’s my site and you did come here to read my latest splurge of nothingness.
The point, as promised I went to the movie theater last night and watched Transformers before I returned from my vacation. I can’t sum this movie up with out using a whole lot of holy shit’s and that was fucking awesome! The action was non stop, the humor was great, the bitches were hot, and oh yeah they did a really good job with the movie.
I already picked up the soundtrack from the movie, I am currently jamming to is as I work on this post. For the most part the music is pretty damn good. I recall hearing most of it through out the movie. I was very impressed with the movie. I remember hearing about the movie coming out, reading various articles and thinking this movie is going to be a piece of shit. I will admit I had hope with Peter Cullen reprising the voice of Optimus Prime. I did not expect to leave the movie wanting to watch it again. Go check it out..
Returning to work today wasn’t too bad. Anytime you return from vacation it still sucks but it really wasn’t that bad. Some people thought it was crazy for me to return to work on a Sunday but it remained somewhat slow enough for me to catch up on what I missed. Plus I clerked a $1300.00 sale which really pissed my assistant manager off. he will get over it I am sure.
The more I am using this new laptop the less being in the dog house has affected me. Seriously though.. this thing is a monster. I am blown away at how well this machine runs. The space is just nuts, the speed is nice, frankly worth the purchase. I would almost completely get rid of my desktop other then the fact it does have a tv card. Something which could prove useful when I get the new office set up. I know I will need to set up a server, and I will possibly have a computer with the home entertainment system for watching movies, etc. I am unsure about that.. I will cross that bridge when I get there. I am going to draw a schematic of the house with this Interior Designer program I borrowed from a buddy of mine and I might post in on here. Who knows, if we get this place it is going to be bad ass once I get it set up. We have some really cool ideas in mind.
Well I think that is it for the moment, I am going to rock out to this cd and I will dump on here some other time.

Actually things are not that bad… (I think).
Yesterday I had to get a replacement sticker for my tags on the truck. I somehow mis placed the one the state mailed me. *groans* After driving to the DMV… back to Shawnee to file a police report, back to the DMV to get my replacement sticker, I was set.
Then it was time to get the mop cut off. My hair was getting long enough to annoy the shit out of me so that was that. Ami came with me to the hair place. Then Ami and I met up with my mother and we visited my grandparents… hung out with them a little while..
The three of us left my grandparents and we stopped at Chen’s Supper Buffet for lunch… all of this was the easy part…
The three of us decided to go to Wal-Mart. My mother whom is slowly sliding into her grandmother role, helps Ami pick out new clothes and begins to SPOIL HER! … 
After helping my mother pick out a shirt for Vanessa, and she continues spoiling Ami, I wonder off into the electronics section. While grazing through the electronics I decide to check out the notebook computers. I remember looking at the notebooks Wal-Mart featured in a recent ad so I figure what the hell…
As I graze at the notebooks I see there is one which has a remote control which I suppose could come in handy if you are watching DVD’s and you are a complete lazy fuck.. the screen on it was smaller then what I currently had on my notebook. It lost me at smaller screen.. then the remote was a nail in the coffin.
Finally I look at the best one they had featured which was nice but on Windows Vista it only came with one gig of ram. Came with a built in card reader… four usb ports.. better stereo sound.. and a bunch of other shit which I really wouldn’t have cared about. Just as I was about to walk away since I was not about to spend eight hundred dollars on a new computer when I am about to move, I am stopped by my mother and Ami.
My mother starts this rant about how she wants a notebook computer she can use in the bedroom when the neighbors are being annoying. I’m unsure at this point where she is going with this.. She asks me if there is one there I like, and I point at the one with the card reader, etc. My mother pauses, and tells me if she pays half of the cost of the notebook she wants the one I have now.
Umm.. yeah ok .. sure wife will kick my ass. but whatevet..
The little wal-mart guy comes over to us and I tell him about how I want a certain notebook. He opens his little bin underneath and tells me they are out of the one I want However.. for the same price… I could get one just like it with more bullshit and 2 gigs of ram… FOR THE SAME PRICE!
I look at my mother and my daughter and I command the little man to give me the notebook. Ami pipes up and tells me; “Mom is going to kick your butt!” Yes … I am aware of that…
Pros.. it is twice the speed of my current notebook, with double the usb ports (I am a hubbin man), built in card reader, and a 160 gig hard drive… room for tons of my bullshit… I am basically paying half price for the computer.
Cons.. Vista…. if you remember I posted a while back I felt the Vista is like getting your balls dipped in acid. However I figure with two gigs of ram Vista would leave me a little bit of ram to use towards other apps like notepad right? *shrugs* My 
wife is going to beat me senseless..
Ok so I get home and I tell my wife I purchased a new notebook computer and gave her a T shirt I purchased for her. Yeah … I know what you are thinking..
Here I am the following day and I survived…
I have been messing with my new toy for almost twenty four hours now and I have to admit I am pleased. I guess Vista isn’t such a heap of shit if you have a computer with TWO GIGS of RAM! Sorry but that is just fuckin retarded. Don’t get me wrong the more ram the merrier but a gig of ram just to run Vista happily is bullshit! Mr. Gates, I give you the finger!
Transferring data over from one computer from another was no big feat since I have decent experience in data recovery and back up. I was actually pleasantly surprised how well the filters and themes transfered over from my old computer to the new computer with in Firefox. I had my reservations about how that process was going to go, but I honestly cannot complain.
My only concern came with installing my palm to sync with this computer since the software was not Vista compatible. Alas, I installed the outlook 2007 download from palm and rolled back the hotsync software to Windows XP and it was a snap. I have not had any problems what so ever with Vista compatibility. I heard people complain over and over again about it .. honestly I think they are just stupid. In fact, I am sure they were stupid… the wife was still pretty pissed..
Anyway .. I have some pictures from the 4th which will be posted today so check them out .. it was kind of cool. We really did have a good time with that. The fireworks were awesome, and the kid had a good time which was important to me.
I think I have made this post long enough. Now I am going to go find that program someone has written which will allow me to remove all the bullshit in Vista I do not want.
I have yet seen Transformers… kind of messed up since I am a Trans-Nut don’t you think?
