320 Gigabyte = near terabyte… I’m a dork … Ranma 1/2

At work I learned we could price match a 320 Gig external hard drive for near $40.00… normally retails for about a hundred. I purchased three of them.. I have more hard drive space then I will ever know what to do with.. and that’s really awesome… I love being a nerd…
The idea behind what I have done is going to be placing everything I have on CD’s and placing them on these hard drives.. thus throwing out the cd’s or at least get rid of the idea of needing them out all the time. I could also back up some of my movies onto the drive, etc… etc..
Moving along…
Over the last few months I have been finding myself really getting myself caught up in reading wiki. I do not know what my problem is as it is just an online encyclopedia. I just get so caught up in reading all about what ever it is I looked up then I click on this link… which takes me to another link… and then hours have passed… it’s a drug!
Ok, just like any other guy in the world and like any other guy on the internet I checked out the Meg White porn video. Seriously, I do not see what the big fuckin deal is.. I find it more entertaining there are reports claiming the tape is not real… saying; “it is not her” Who cares if it is? Unless you are wanting to be the dudes cock she is riding on… *shrugs*
And… finally … I was browsing through the DVD section at work the other day where you can always bet I will get into trouble. I found copies of Ranma 1/2 on DVD. An anime I actually liked back in the day when I was a completely different person… *smirks* anyway.. I picked up the first two seasons, and opted to wait to purchase the third season since rent is due.. *cough* … hard drives… *cough*

Since I have moved to my new palace of fun, and set up my new office, I was using my laptop as a storage unit for everything I thought I would possibly need, or download off the the internet.
Now that I have my desktop setup (which is no where near the bad ass the laptop is) I managed to set up my external hard drives onto the desktop and manage all my downloads through that machine. While doing so I moved over roughly twenty gigs worth of crap I had stored on the laptop.
Once the re arranging of my bullshit was completed, I opted for running a disk defrag on the laptop since I have extracted, installed, burned off on to disk, moved to another drive roughly a hundred gigs worth of crap. Apparently my computer agreed with me as the defrag was one which took hours to complete. I got up this morning, came downstairs saw the defrag was finally completed. I rebooted the computer and my is there a difference… WOO! heh …
While I was on the kick or changing around technology I also opted to have the Treo sync up with the desktop (running XP) instead of the laptop as palm cannot get their head out of their ass and make their sync software compatible with Windows Vista. *fuckers* The docking cradle is so handy…
I finally decided to track down the website where you could create your own motivation picture. I have seen some pretty funny ones out on the internet so I decided it was my turn to contribute… Alas … my first attempt… look for more in the future…

New TV Season – Thus Far…

Miss me? It’s been about a week since I have smeared something on here…. *grins*
You have to have real appreciation for the internet when it comes to missing a show on TV. You can just go out and find it on some TV website and catch what you missed. i.e. Chuck …
I was able to find Chuck after missing the season premiere last night. The show seems pretty entertaining with a tough of god damn that blonde bitch is hot!! Not to mention the irony and humorous similarities between the fictional Buy More store with the Nerd Herd to help people with their computers. Pretty good show, hopefully it will last… and not suck.. but who knows….
The season premiere of Boston Legal was pretty funny, and NCIS wasn’t too bad either. There are only a couple more shows left for me to wait to kick off… Las Vegas.. and another one I can’t think of at the moment…
I have the next two days off from work and other then laundry I really have nothing to do. I might look into rewiring the electrical in my office, but that might be the extent of my projects and I doubt I will even do that.. too much of a pain in the ass…
I managed to pick up a docking station for my Treo to hook up to my computer. It will become handier when I pick up a second battery for the phone. This will allow me to just hot swap batteries as opposed to hooking the phone up to a charger all the freakin time. My other solution was to not access the internet, text message, chat on aim, keep up on appointments, or check my email… That just was not going to happen. I can’t be working towards supernerd and not have a supernerd phone! It’s just not right!!
Finally … I have been messing around with Linux again. After years of just talking about messing with Linux, I took it a step further and actually placed my hands on a copy and played with in Linux for a while… Now do not get too excited kiddies… I used Ubuntu? This copy I got you could either install it onto your computer, or run it off of a cd… score! this means if I don’t like it I can reboot the computer, take out the CD and move forward… Now … I will still eventually install it on a machine … or not … fuck it after seven years of not touching it I made some real progress.. I guess I shouldn’t push my luck… *laughs*
Anyway … if you think you have a better copy of Linux I would like, or would have more enjoyment messing with, drop me a note, email, call.. whatever… in the mean time ……
I survived the craziest day….

It would seem as if the entire world was against me yesterday. I started off with nuking my treo… now … if you have ever heard about how much I love this phone then you would understand it did not make me happy. The phone would just power cycle, and I could not get the phone to reset. Finally I was like whatever… I am thinking … I don’t have time to fuck with this for now ….
Check in the book of boneheads for the printer story… good stuff…
Then I had to deal with the laptop nut job whom ended up having the police called on him because he did not like the response my manager and I gave him.
Sound card guy ….
Treo never ended up working again… so I have no phone to call the police with.. I had to hoof it to the nearest cordless phone… that was aggravating…
The day just was very trying on patience.. I did however survive with out once losing my temper… yaay me!!
This morning I go to the sprint store and argue how I have to mail in my fucking phone to palm in order to have the phone repaired.. I’m sorry I purchased the phone from Sprint… they were going to replace it … not Palm… in the midst of the debate I learned I am a twit and do not know how to do a hard reboot on my phone .. and once rebooted the phone was happy… I was happy… and I ordered a docking station …
The whole mailing in the phone bit was still bullshit … so is the insurance.. fortunately I was able to skate by it this time without having to fight the powers that be about getting my phone to work without paying some ridiculous fee.
Anyway.. things were sucking and all is better now… yaay me!!
The funny part about all the crap at work is I have been temporarily reassigned out of Geek Squad and I am currently being tested as a service customer assistant. I basically am out on the sales floor selling geek squad services and helping other associates on how they can sell the service. It’s going pretty good so far… I think in the end I might want to remain a full blown geek in the precinct.. I am tired of sales… granted I am good at it … but doing it every day again I think would be boring.. but who knows.. I shall wait and see what happens…

People make me laugh, they call up and talk so tough over the phone. I always get a good laugh when I hear someone on the phone running at the mouth and making threats and then…. as a bonus effect, they … hang up!! I laugh every time!!
I find shit like this more entertaining then reading about how tough they think they are on the internet. Yessir… always a good laugh…
Moving forward…
I have had this urge lately to take snapshots of my poo after I finish.. it is almost like a game whom had the best artistic turd.. or whom had the nastiest… I realize that is a bit demented .. but not as demented as .. lets say posting the pictures on here? That would be fucked up… Are you laughing? Or are you rolling your eyes..
In the last copy of PC mag I picked up I found an article in there about creating your own web browser.. hmm.. this could be kind of fun.. I am envisioning some pretty neat ideas… but I will have to check it out before I go to crazy on it.. but it could be fun to play around with. I wonder if it relies in IE or Netscape engine… if it is IE that would have to be a hard sell for me to go back to using… ya know??
There was another tidbit in there regarding downloading shows from your DVR to your PC but I have not been able to locate the magazine.. that kind of pisses me off… I am sure I will find it eventually… *sighs*
Anyway… so the druggie is getting married this weekend. Get this, it is not to the same druggette he was banging a couple of months ago. This is an entirely different druggette. Interestingly enough she is stupid enough to buy him shit like a car, etc. Watching this unfold should be fun.. I am sure there will be plenty of surprises along the way…

Ok.. I need someone to take a moment to explain something to me.. I have two pages I keep up .. nowayinhell and ichrist.. sometimes .. sometimes I dabble myspace… but seriously … here is where I am confused … I know people whom have a myspace page, (sometimes more then one myspace page, a facebook page, a yahoo360 page, xanga, yearbook, aim page, AND something to the affect of blogspot…
Get a life folks.. pick a single blog or two and be done with it. You do not need a blog on every fucking blog network known to man. There is just a point where if you do not think you have enough friends on your blogs then you just need to come to terms with the fact people do not like you.
Sorry if you think that is harsh but cut the cords folks … register a domain, pay a host, or find a friend like I did, and be an independent.. fuck collecting friends.. I have lots of them in real life I can’t always keep up with… Hell I am at a point in life now where I am starting to run in to people from high school. I do not need legions of internet friends whom want you to be their friend cause you bought in to the fact they are something online but someone totally different in real life…
It’s almost as if people are pretending to have imaginary friends all over again. Usually after five if people are still prefer make believe friends over real friends it becomes a concern…

Biscuits!

I took some biscuits to work with me as part of my breakfast yesterday morning. As the day progressed I did not eat the biscuits primarily because I was not hungry and I kind of forgot about them. There they sat through out the day, as the packaging became more and more decorated with variations of how to spell biscuits… biz kits .. etc.. There they sat… four in a package… Until finally one of them was taken…
Now picture with me if you will four or five fellow agents swarming around a package of biscuits like vultures… debating on whether or not they should take one… debating on how to take one.. debating on if I would care if they were eaten…
Finally .. one was taken from the baggie… and eaten… I pulled a prank on them where I came across as being upset but I just couldn’t help but laugh over how they acted over the biscuits.. it was pretty funny … I didnt have the heart to tell them there were peanut butter fudge bars Vanessa made in the other room… it was quite humor us.. I wish I would have kept the packaging.. so I could provide you a better visual of what they did… After pretending I was upset I let them finish off the rest of the biscuits since they were much more interested in eating them then I was.
That was yesterday… today I think I spent more time on the sales floor selling things then I did actually doing any work in the squad.

Today was a fairly relaxing day off… I spent the first part of my morning laying in bed… getting laid.. laying in bed… getting laid.. then I went for food…
Vanessa and I both agreed we were too tired to drive the kiddo to school so we let her play hookie.. we are nice parents.. *smiles* Vanessa did end up having to go to work today, while I on the other hand enjoyed doing as little as possible today.
While Vanessa was at work it allowed time for Ami and I to fuck around on the internet. I found the following video on youtube…

Moving on .. Things are still going well at work, Vanessa seems to like her new job which is a good thing, and I am on my way towards getting more bullshit cleared up. It was like we hit a swoop of bullshit bad luck or something it was really annoying… but oh well. I guess everything happens for a reason right?

As I am working on this post, I have DOA the movie playing on my dvd player. Thus far, I am unimpressed … I am surprised someone funded this piece of crap, I am surprised people actually agreed to participate in this movie, and finally I am surprised anyone would pay money to see this piece of shit… nuff said.. the bitches are hot … at least they had a DOA volleyball match.. *laughs* Eric Roberts in a martial arts fight with anyone is just fucking hilarious.. seriously this movie is a piece of shit. I would say the movie is like Mortal Kombat but everyone drinks draino.
There is just not jack shit in the movie world right now … I mean sure I am interested in the Halloween remake but other then that… I think a good shit would be better… Wrong Turn 2… (first one was shit), Cabin Fever 2… (the dude whom died in the first one is back?), Surf’s Up (I am sure I will get forced to this pile of dung… kid’s), or something to that affect of suck… you get the idea… I guess I am just going to have to resort to angry masterbating for entertainment…
I’m a little irritated… I had the Gun’s N Roses appearance at the VMA’s in 2003 but now I cannot find it anywhere and that bugs the shit out me cause I WANT TO WATCH IT!!

I finally obtained the rest of my stereo equipment and hooked up most of my surround sound system in my house. Even without the rear speakers the TV, etc is much more enjoyable. I think the girls enjoy it, but I am sure I am going to have to teach them how to use it. *smirks*
On my next day off, I will have some real fun with it when I have the place to myself. I am kind of annoyed though because I seemed to have misplaced my PS2 power cord so no Smackdown vs Raw yet.. Fortunately I have a pretty awesome discount at work so if I need to purchase a new one it shouldn’t be that painful…
It seemed for the most part of the day today the theme revolved around people’s anal areas. Vanessa has the runs, she was quoted; “Her ass was vomiting.” one of my co-workers had the farts to kill an army.. (unless you were a pakie.. they never bath anyway..), and a different co-worker kept running to the bathroom to drop off tribes of children at the pool… *shrugs* interesting subject matter I tell you.
Have you checked out open DNS yet? Why not? I am still telling you it is bad ass.. and you should get it! I have most of my family on it now. They like it! *thumbs up*
I have been watching a little bit of Heroe’s every night now before I go to bed… I am hooked… not sure I am going to have time to watch the entire first season before the new season starts, but I am going to try.. if not I will just do the same thing I did for the first season.. or I could DVR it… *shrugs*
