I have been crushing through Smackdown vs Raw 2008. Like the previous games, I just needed a certain nitch and I was on my way to crushing the rest of the wrestlers in the game.
I believe at this time I am 47 and 0 in season mode this year. I think I am a little over half way through the game now. Once I complete the season mode, I may or may not go again but since I am now the champion I might see if I the season is different once I have the belt… *shrug* there was a pay per view in this game where the champions from all three shows would compete and the winner would obtain the losers belt.
The part I was disappointed in was after defeating the smackdown champion I had to choose which belt I wanted to drop meaning either stay on the show I had been playing in season mode, or go to the other show as the champion.. BAH why can’t I just have it all??
Anyway… that is what I have been up to… kicking ass in a wrestling game. I am sure as before I will create co-workers whom I would like to pummel in real life. (since doing it in real life would result jail… VERY BAD)
I thought I would share something different on here besides my detest for Linksys… *laughs*
U3 Smart Drives, Linksys, and My Birthday…

I picked up a USB thumb drive today with the original intent of being able to download all of my cheat codes from code breaker and upload them to the memory card on my PS2 via the thumb drive.
Well that didn’t work not because of the thumb drive but because the codes I found were gay.
With that I was only out ten dollars and that’s ok.. I have a new toy. I have probably not needed a thumb drive in several years. I lost my original drive in the move and the other drive I had I gave to my mother, and then it was passed on to Ami so she would have a thumb drive for her school. (they made a big to do about her needing one and I think she has used it twice…)
The point is in this sentence… the drive is a U3 Smart drive. Something I have heard people talk about in the past, but nothing I cared to really mess with. Well since I went through the trouble of purchasing the drive I figured I would check out the whole U3 thing … its pretty cool. I can do a lot of this shit I wish I could do with my desktop through this drive.. although I can still use remote connect… but you know ..
I am still angry with Linksys… But I did manage to rid myself of their shitty products. As stated before, I found the packaging to that piece of crap and I returned it to the store I purchased it from and received a full refund. Instead of telling the clerk I purchased the router with in the last 7 months, I told them I picked it up a couple of weeks ago.. *laughs*
I used my new cash to invest in the thumb drive I babbled about at the beginning…
Now that piece of crap is his problem…

Childish? You betcha… I would almost destroy this fucking thing.. and provide video footage of it’s demise.. however I still have all the packaging so I feel that instead I will just return it to the store for credit, a handjob or something …
I sold three routers at work today.. want to guess what brand I sold? I will give you one guess which one I didn’t recommend. I even took one WRT54G router from a customer and placed it back on the shelf and gave them a different brand. I assured them they would be much happier..
Sadly this campaign of anti-linksys may continue until I have my frustrations completely out of my system… *sighs*

I always dreamed up how I would nerd out the house someday and it looks like I have finally accomplished that goal. I now have the Media MVP working the way I want it to in the living room. Once I wanted, I have moved over all my video’s I would want to watch… music video’s, and or whatever misc clips I have gathered over the years… it’s pretty bad ass…
I have the roku working in the bed room so I can now listen to any thing I want either through the radio stations or my music on the server downstairs.. It is just sick..
Next I am going to have to show Vanessa how it all works because she is going to want to use this stuff too. That is going to be a bigger task then setting all of this shit up I am sure… evil grin*
Yesterday was the first day with the new DCI. At first I was kind of unsure since he just kind of came across to me as some arrogant little ass on a power trip. I let him dance around for a bit with in the precinct before I really interacted with him. I have learned to just sit back and watch as opposed to well starting shit with the new guy.
Or not starting as much shit I should day… *smirks*

Ok, going forward from a personal standpoint and as a member of the geeksquad community I am going on record here and now to tell you Linksys Wireless Routers are peices of shit!
For years I have always sworn by Linksys telling people how I felt Linksys was the superior router… I say from here on out.. fuck that.. and FUCK YOU LINKSYS!! Here is the deal if you recall I mentioned on here about how I could not connect to my Roku view wirelessly, etc.. thinking it was the roku.. then for the last couple of weeks I was not able to connect to this very website to upload web posts etc. unless I went through AOL or some stupid shit.
I brought it up in conversation today at work and the concensous was the router was fucked up. After I performed a firmware update, etc the fucking router was jacked up. I cannot tell you how pissed I was that after all the crap I went through it was the router… FUCKIN LINKSYS! I am done….
I say we rise up and throw all of our linksys routers out the fucking window! Let’s create a heap of linksys routers and burn them until they become one pile of goo.. then we go kick the crap out of the assholes whom designed the fucking things…
Get a netgear.. the one I picked up kicks ass… *thumbs up*
Life is much happier.. now that my shit works let’s see about getting the website back up and running eh..???
Black Friday… The Day After… DieHard

Rember two years ago when I posted on here with in the book of boneheads about the craziness with the customer flipping out and the employee whom wanted to pick a fight with me, and ended up going to the wrong city to file a police report? I am sure you do if you have been checking this place out for a few years…
Remember last year when I stated how nothing really major happened but we didn’t have enough product and I was concerned with the fact I didn’t have enough product but we still managed to hit our day?
Each year regardless of the adventure or the concerns I would bitch about having to get up at the buttcrack of dawn and be at work to deal with all the raging idiots and last minute bullshit before and after we opened. Being REQUIRED to work 4AM to 11 PM…. yeah fuck that…
This year on black friday I slept until about ten thirty mosied my ass out of bed when I felt like it.. rolled into work around two … and I was all rested up and ready to go for all the nothing I had to worry about or do. The highlight of my day was helping customers…
Oh yeah and I purchased the entire series of the Soprano’s for half off…
So… I spent some money and worked until midnight… (which was fine with me) and I didnt have to mess with all the bullshit. For the first time in five years I was able to sleep in the day after thanksgiving… I am loving my job. *thumbs up*
I picked up Live Free or Die Hard… I enjoyed the movie.. but not enough to make me happy I spent sixteen dollars on it. It was ok.. but I don’t know … the ending sucked… that’s it … THE ENDING TO LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD SUCKED!! there was always some kick ass ending to a Die Hard movie.. the dude falling off a building after the watch fell apart… the plane exploding in mid air… the guy in the helicopter exploding… and then this one was just like … ok he’s dead.. don’t even think about fucking my daughter… *shrugs* perhaps I have just been spoiled over the years with the barage of action movies all simulating or refrencing themselves off of the greats like Die Hard or Lethal Weapon… BAH… I will watch it again I am sure.. at least the one liners were good…
Now with the Soprano’s DVD’s… I am going to have an assload of watching to do.. I watched religiously for a season and a half I think in season 3?? but I never had the time to watch it religiously so now I can go back to the begining and watch to the end… might take me a year but thats ok… I have more Ranma 1/2 on DVD to watch and purchase too…
I think that is it for now … I need to start getting ready for work…

Let’s talk about work… cause well you know I always have to end up talking about work for whatever reason.. like it… hate it… loath it… you know …. me just running my mouth…
Actually.. I am still enjoying my job, and I think Best Buy / Geeksquad is a great company to work for. We have not had a DCI still since the other one bailed out like a turd so that has left the two seniors basically in charge of the precinct. Fortunately, there have not been any issues which have arisen, and the other Senior Agent and I have been able to keep the precinct running fairly smooth.
I had to get about a hundred desktop computers set up for the sale on black friday… that was a treat.. but I managed to complete the task in less time in which I was given so that is a good thing. It breaks my heart to know that for the first time in five years I will not be required to be at work at some god forsaken time in the morning. I will be working the closing shift!! *self high five* End of work talk..
Before I left Radioshack I purchased a media MVP from Happauge for like $26.00! If memory serves me correctly they were something more like a hundred in their prime… and when I was supposed to carry them I never kept them in the store, I would just send them back to the manufacture.. cause well it was fun…
This was over a year ago… I finally dug it out of the box and hooked it up to my TV in the living room. Set it up to my hard wired network (since I now have a hub there ) and with in minutes I was able to now not only play my MP3’s through my stereo I can now watch my downloaded videos on the television.. that my friends is bad ass… I am currently watching some music video’s through the external hard drive on the TV upstairs.. it’s a little slow to boot up but it’s still pretty bad ass… I have to work on some settings through the firewall but what did I expect… *shrugs*
Umm other then that I have been pounding away at Smackdown vs Raw 2008 …
My wife has been so kind to place me on a; “I cannot buy jack shit for myself until after Christmas rule again. I was hoping heading this far into November I would have been able to slip past it this year… I was wrong…
Since it is thanksgiving …. I think I shall take a moment to reflect on the past year and be thankful for the events which have transpired. I am thankful for my wonderful wife whom puts up with all of my zany bullshit… and the great daughter which came with her. I am thankful I am not working a morning shift on blackfriday.. *self high five once again* I am thankful for my family and all of their support through all of the hurdles life has thrown at me over the last year, I am thankful for knowing one of the greatest mentors I have known even if I lost him in recent weeks, I am thankful for my new career where I make more money work less hours, and I get more time to spend with my family, and finally I am thankful for all of my friends …

New Season of Smackdown vs Raw

Naturally I picked up my copy of SvR2008. One of the nice things about my work was being able to walk in before open, pick up the game, beat the crowd, get it five dollars cheaper then most, and be home before the store opens.
I have already created my own character in the game as before.. and I have already unlocked the game.. cause well that is how I roll.. the game play is something I have to get used to since they took out the controls I have used the last two or three games.. But that’s ok though, I have all new ways of beating peoples asses. My favorite at this point has to be the extreme rules match where you can have any weapon in the game in the match…
*barbed wired two by four on fire!!!* hee hee.. so anyway I have been playing the crap out of that since I picked it up yesterday. The fam is not to pleased with my taking over the tv but they will get over it … or play the game with me… *wink*
Nothing else really too exciting going on …
OH WAIT!! I lied… I think I am going to get the engine in my truck replaced… since I can get a new engine dropped for 350 it’s a lot more tangable then two grand… *smirks*

I did not get the promition and I am ok with that. honestly I would have been suprised if I did.
the reasoning behind it was frustrating because my previous dci was just worthless. I guess instead of supporting him, I should have just squashed him every chance I got.
