I was on aol earlier this evening trying to help someone figure out how to change their font size. Since I was logged in remotely I decided to enter a chatroom and watch the AOLian’s converse.
It was pretty sad…
With in seconds I was getting spamming IM’s asking me shit like.. A/S/L .. or M/F. There is a picture of me as a buddy icon in this window.. let’s see… I am a dude you moron… so once I pointed out the obvious to poor deluded he decides to have a cut down match with me calling me a child predator.. ok wait .. he messaged me…
Whatever.. I threw a couple of cut downs back at him before the interest was lost and I signed off. I never figured out how to chance the font. Partially because I didn’t care anymore.
On a similar but different note, I learned something new about my boss today. Although at work he seems very hardcore and egomaniac, he is actually a good old Christian boy whom makes silly ass video’s with his friends. I would almost not put it past me he gets picked on the most when he is not at work. Not sure if I feel bad yet about the brutal crack I made about the bible the other day. Or the joke I made about Jewish people and Christmas… Some of my best friends are Jewish so I opt to not share the joke on here at this time.
Why do people have to be fake? It is truly something I may never understand. Be yourself!! People will like you better that way.. I have always been the hell raising, double bird flipping, alcohol fueled crazy man I have been for years.. Maybe not so much walking around and being in people’s faces about it as I used to be.. only when necessary… however at the end of the day I am happy with life…
perhaps that is why people are so fake… I challenge or threaten their … disguise or mask of insecurity..
they are unhappy…

2007: A Year In Review..

Now that 2007 is almost gone (thank god) I want to be like everyone else and reflect on the past year of events. Perhaps my reflection will be more entertaining… you be the judge.

Britney Spears… has kids, goes nuts, fails rehab, eats up an innocent SUV, goes off on her mom, loses her kids, fucks a few dudes, loses her license, and loses her kids to Kevin Federline… Oh yeah and the success of her cum-back is questionable.
Kevin Federline .. went from loser to father of the year??? *cough*
Paris Hilton… breaks the law, gets thrown in jail, is let out early, society gets really pissed, pissed off judge throws her toothpick ass back in with the bitches in orange, and loses her inheritance to a charity which shows there is justice in the world.
Michael “I’m not guilty” Vick .. follows the curse of the previous football players featured on the cover of a John Madden game. Dog fighting doesn’t go to well with anyone unless you own a Chinese buffet. Once convicted and thrown in jail, he wrote a letter to the judge apologizing because he was a fuck up and blame his peeps from the hood.
Anna Nichole Smith.. Has a kid… different kid dies… sluts around… dies herself.. it becomes cool to claim ownership of the surviving child as everyone attempts to stake a claim from Howard Stern to Charlie Brown. *Good Grief*
George Bush is still a fuck up and we are still at war for something not everyone understands or can explain.

Moving on to my personal life..
Learned how annoying my in-laws truly are by living in their basement and often wondering how identical to hell their house really was.
Moved away from hell and reside in a nice cosy town home with a fireplace and more technology then someone with my salary would know what to do with.
After almost four years, and a pretty successful run as store manager, I left Radioshack to work for the Geeksquad.I now work smarter instead of harder with a larger paycheck and less hours for my trouble. I get to tell people they fucked up their computer for a living.
One of my best friends passes away..
Was taken to court for yelling “Fuck You!”
Went to the hospital for the first time ever and during my visit I was a human pin cushion and charged nine hundred bucks for their trouble.
Found a new love for Guitar Hero 3.
Went to the hospital once again for my foot. It was infected so much I had a balloon with little sausages for toes.
Learned Linksys products are not worth a damn. I would rather eat a box of nails then ever own a Linksys product ever again.
Did I mention I blew up my truck?? Ok.. Making sure…
Took my first out of state vacation in seven years. Learned highways in Texas would assrape good ol KC. People say yall and there are restaurants whom feel as good steak should cost fifty dollars…
I purchased a palm treo.. my magazine reading in the shitter has now been replace with Super Mario Bros on NES, checking email, surfing the web, or chatting on instant messaging… don’t what my other hand is doing…
I had my first crack at Windows Vista… umm well… it’s different…
I had my first crack at Bunt also… at this time I do not have it currently installed on a working machine.. where as I am still running Vista… *shrugs*
I think that is all worth mentioning this year… if I don’t speak to you between now and Monday night, see you next year!
Random Thursday Stuff…

Today was my day off and I decided to start off the day nerding out Problem is I spent most of the day nerding out as my desktop decided to take a dive.
This is rather inconvenient since all of my external hard drives are ran through my desktop and I use them frequently through the network when I want to hear music, pull things from the from them, download stuff from the internet to them, etc. So while I was backing up, unfucking and formatting the desktop I decided to watch Rob Zombie’s Halloween.
It was a pretty decent remake, etc. Lots of boobs.. boobs are good. Lots of blood, and the story was actually pretty good so I can’t complain. I helped pass the time spent working on the desktop and clicking yes a lot of times… While I was downloading updates from Micosoft I was “chosen” to download and beta test a new desktop search for my Windows XP. It is almost exactly like the live search in the menu bar for Vista. (One of the few great features in Vista) Just like Vista when I type in a search it will go through everything and anything including emails.. it’s pretty bad ass.
Later on in the evening after I fixed my computer, I decided to jam out to Guitar Hero 3 on my Playstation 2. Vanessa while hearing how horrible I was on medium mode was sitting on the couch designing clothes, playing book worm and whatever else caught her attention.
She really likes her notebook. So much she can no longer give me a hard time about the amount of time spent on a computer as she has spent plenty of time herself on the the computer since Christmas. *shrugs*
That’s ok though.. I am glad she likes her computer. She has told me several times a day every day since she got her computer how much she likes it.. *smiles*
I think that is it from the peanut gallery… for now…

I know I did … I got a guitar hero for my PS2, a Jawbone Bluetooth headset, some little cars, a new chillmat for my notebook, every season of the Sopranos on DVD, Christmas Sweater, Christmas shirt, some mini transformers, and other things I honestly cannot remember the rest …
Vanessa on the other received a new notebook computer…

If you have been reading this website with in the past year, you may recall there was an tidbit on here over the summer about how I purchased a new notebook computer. I got in trouble with Vanessa though because I only picked her up a new tee shirt.
For Christmas I bought her a new Toshiba notebook computer. She learned this after opening a large box full of paper shreds, with two tee shirts on top. I think the look on her face in the above picture clearly shows her reaction.
She never saw it coming and she was so surprised and happy… for that I am the self proclaimed King Of Christmas…
The computers look very similar so we each placed a small sticker under the Toshiba logo on the cover of our notebooks. Mine is of a decepticon ensignia, and hers has a small puppy. *shrugs*
We spend most of the day with my family eating potato pancakes, exchanging gifts, telling stories about people or crap at work. Afterward we came home and I have spent the rest of the evening sitting on the couch with Vanessa as we both have been playing on our computers.

For the first time in several years I am not stressed about the holidays. As usual work is crazy and everyone is retarded but all an all it was not that bad.
We had a nice healthy snow storm blow through and instead of staying inside like any sane person would do, I go shopping. *rolls eyes* I start off with picking up a kick ass present for Vanessa, go to my mothers and wrap up her gift, then Vanessa and I go get pictures taken with Santa, I take Vanessa to work, go to the grocery store, go home, clean house, and then go back out during the second pass of the snow to pick up Vanessa from work. I laugh at the retards whom go out in the cold freezing weather every year and here I am just one of the cattle just shuffling my way through the insanity.
Oh yeah.. and I have a winter bonehead …. but I am too lazy to type it up right now because I am fuckin tired and I don’t want to mess with it right now.
Ami and I revisited the grocery store this evening where after I mentioned my distaste for grocery stores, she takes the list from my hands, grabs a shopping cart and starts collecting the groceries.. she fuckin nine years old.. and she tells me; “Let’s go dad.” makes me proud.
Let me explain something here.. I hate grocery stores. I hate them .. I hate them… I hate them… the best example I can give you is MOST women despise electronic stores for various reasons. Regardless the reason, women would rather itch another man’s balls then usually visit an electronic store. Well I would rather itch my best friends balls then go to the grocery store. get it??? Good
I am beta test Firefox 3 and it seems to load a lot faster then the previous. Not because well it’s just a new and improved kick ass whatever.. simply put most of my plug ins are disabled so if I just took some shit off… thats not going to happen…
Anyway… I hope you all have a great Christmas and I wish you all the best. I hope you get everything you asked for even if you didn’t deserve it. Because if gift giving was based on ones worthiness… on one level or another we would all be using that single lump of coal to keep our freezing asses warm.

I find it amazing how I went from the guy at work asking a couple of people where they were getting their programs from for their Treo 700 to now becoming the guy the same people are asking me where I found my shit.
It’s an egoistical thing… I am aware of that.. but let’s face it.. when you are good.. you are just good.. ya know!!!!
So… I installed some sort of palm globe… alarm clock thingy… a call recording software.. (I think it has voice dial too), dope wars, Geek Dictionary, VNC, SimCity… Oh yeah!! And a VOODOO DOLL!! *maniacal laugh* that was my favorite….
I think I may have found a recording software for my phone too which may suit my needs. I think that and mobi tv and I very well could be set.
I was disappointed to learn I the copy of Grand Theft Auto I found for the Treo didn’t work. I am unsure how successful that would have been to play anyway but the reactions from work would have been priceless.
My daughter informed me the druggie is in jail again for violation of his probation. I asked her if she knew why, but her grandma wouldn’t really tell her. The only other thing her grandma told her was; “Her parents (Ami’s/ Me and Vanessa) should be pleased to hear that.”
I shrugged and told Ami to inform her grandmother that news was the best Christmas gift I could have received. Ami then showed me a box of soap and shampoo and asked me if she thought we should send it to the druggie.. I just started laughing hysterically for two reasons, the irony… and my daughter had no idea what she was actually suggesting.
It was classic… you got to love kids.
Anyway… I think I am going to take my nerd ass to bed now. I need to catch up on some sleep.
Toys for Treo … Sister hood of the Spears… FINISH HER!!!

Yesterday I was nerding out as I usually do on my days off, and I decided to embark on a quest to find more cool shit to do with my Treo. I have been a proud papa of the treo for several months now. Why I have not embarked on this search before is beyond me..
During my search for the bigger and badder toys for treo, I was surprised I was having such a hard time finding things as I am generally pretty good about finding what I want on the internet. After some digging around I finally found the ways of fulfilling my needs? What am I talking about? *shrugs*
I now have working emulators on my phone to allow me to play nes, snes, genesis, and classic arcade games… these will keep me busy when I am bored off my ass and I do not feel like wasting good battery life browsing the internet. Lord knows I could have benefited from cracking some arcade or nes heads as much waiting around I did yesterday.
I installed the universal remote feature on my phone… but last time I tried the remote feature I ended up deleting it. If I can get it to work correctly it could prove to be fun to mess with people’s tv’s. (i.e. work)
I found an office and paint suite… which doesn’t not benefit me what so ever, but it may come in handy.
I think aside from the video game stuffs, my second favorite application is going to have to be the block call feature. There are some people whom like to call me that I would prefer they didn’t. That has been taken care of now with a kick ass new program called blocked call. When they call, the phone / program just sends them to voice mail… hee hee
I truly think I have everything I could want for my phone. Unless there is a way to access locked doors like you could with the furbies… *laughs*

This is just a scream… Jamie Lynn Spears pregnancy raises legal questions Since she seems to be following the path of her sister with the pregnancy does this mean she is going to flip out, beat up innocent cars, shave her head, etc? Maybe Britney and Jamie will have a Thelma and Louise Ending.. that would be awesome!

I saw this banner and my first thought was WTF? When has Vanilla Ice been a star since his crash and burn in the early nineties..
Did I miss something? Last time I checked Ice was still a loser!!!
I have the pictures I mentioned posted in the pictures section.. (they were the ones from the power outage and some ice pictures from the trees and shit.)
The last couple of days I have been out on the sales floor helping other departments sell items, ring up customers at the cash lanes, etc. It has been a nice change of pace from the norm. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t want to dick with sales on a regular basis again.. at least not right now. It was nice however to remind myself and others around I still had it in me… Alas tomorrow I will be returning to the precinct… I’m ok with that too…
We have an employee whom never stays in his department. Because he is so short he is hard to find, so my GM tied a balloon to the back of his belt. It was a rather funny site to see a balloon moving around through the isles in the store. I snapped a picture and he didn’t seem to pleased about it … *shrugs*
I dig the new smart list in iTunes… well it may or may not be new to some but I have not noticed it until I recently added more music to my computer… it’s a lot easier to update the playlists as opposed to having to recreate them… *shrugs*

I was playing around on the internet this evening and updated my radio station favorites on my Roku. While I found some pretty cool streaming radio stations to put on my Roku, I found an application which will allow me to play Sirius Satellite Radio Stations through my Roku…
Very cool stuff.. god damn I am uber nerd… *smiles*
There is only a handful of stations I like on Sirius, but there are enough to make me want to have it streaming through my roku.. so what the hell it was worth messing around with. Now if I could get my hands on anXM account that would be fun too… *evil grin*
I think I might see about picking up a second Roku though…. that way I can have it in another room of the house. *shrugs*
Sometimes being a nerd is a lot of fun… *smiles*
I keep getting teased by the weather channel we could be getting another snow storm, but… I mean seriously.. I wouldn’t find it so annoying if my phone wasn’t going off in the middle of the night telling me all about the misfortune heading my way…

If you are in the kc area you are well aware of the ice storms, or freezing rain we had last night and today. I drove to work, and the roads seemed fine. Everything was going through it’s usual blah for the first hour of the day and then… the power flickered… I started to imagine what the rest of my day was going to be like…
The power flickered again….
Finally the power shut off and did not come back on… not much you can do after that when your job is to work on customers computers and set up new pc’s with Geek squad services…
We sat around and chatted, sent some people home, unloaded a truck, ate some pizza, and then it was time for me to go home. Here is the best part… just as I was about to leave.. the power came back on.. and stayed on. I laughed maniacally and then walked out the door.
I have to say the most entertaining part of my day was sitting around with the rest of the staff watching the customers whom would actually come up to the door and wonder why they did not open.
They would miss the obvious clues we were closed… no cars in the parking lot… the lights were off.. OR THE BIG SIGN WHICH STATED WE WERE CLOSED!!
Finally I have a new bonehead for you… it’s a scream.. actually since I felt the other two books were directed mostly around my experiences at Radioshack I felt I would create a new book for the new job..
I have a few entries to post, but I wanted to share with you the one I overheard today.. “no power” and “My Printer Doesn’t Work” I have dropped the ball on the boneheads, but I will work on being better at updating those since I get the most feedback from that section.
I will have the pictures from the ice storm and from my work up in the next couple of days. I have a new picture gallery setup which I have yet to master.. so .. if you care keep your eyes peeled… *shrugs*
