Truck News!! and .. Things my wife will love.. and not love so much…

It has been confirmed.. I am taking the bad boy to the lake on Wed, July 2nd. There a motor shall be waiting and the process to get the motor changed over shall begin.
I know once I get the truck down there, the waiting and anticipation of getting it back will just fucking kill me! I am glad though it is closer to a reality.. I am stocked… I miss the truck… it’s a nice truck too.. *smiles*
So.. today .. I decided to redo the office.. It wasn’t planned really.. I started jamming to some music and it didn’t sound very good. I started messing around with the stereo and the computer settings and for some reason it still sounded funky. Fortunately I remembered where I stored my original surround sound speakers for my PC sound card. I dug those out, took out the stereo and all the speakers. Once I removed the stereo, etc. I had to re wire some things, re hide wires.. Do some laundry.. clean up the desk a little.. and it looks probably a lot better then it has in months..
I think I need to start planning on another trip to Las Vegas.. the wife has never been.. and I want to go to Defcon! I doubt I would be able to pull it off this year.. but next year for sure! I still eye the defcon page from time to time and think.. I really need to go back.
Yesterday I had my second real sit down meeting with my manager since I had taken over the computer deparment. We started discussing things about my staff members and how they really are some of the better employee’s of the store. *thumbs up* and how the team runs well when I am not there.. *thumbs up* somehow we started talking about futures and he asked me what I wanted to do..
I didn’t have an answer for him.. I was told to think about it.. interesting.. not that I think they have me in mind for advancement cause I know better then that.. but perhaps what I want ..
It is after all a valid question..

I remember when I was a teenager I was all into Guns N’ Roses loved every album minus Spaghetti Incident.. (it was a piece of shit) then the band did the whole love hate relationship crap and then finally they split up taking the route similar to Roger Waters and Pink Floyd.
As most people I am sure have heard.. it has been thirteen plus years later and yet nothing from Axl, blah blah blah.. Every once in a while there is some bullshit buzz from someone about how the new album is about to come out then something happens like the band gets a case of the bleeding asshole – itus or something and it gets put off once again.
On antiquiet’s website, people are on there blasting their discontent for the amount of time taken to Axl to release Chinese Democracy.How it has taken so many years… blah blah blah… I posted the following comment.. and wanted to share with you..
“Here is my question.. has anyone been doing anything for the last thirteen years besides waiting for this album? Don’t get me wrong, I went through some of my most interesting years while Jamming to Guns N Roses, but I have found other things to do and new music to jam to.
I was excited to see them at the VMA’s as much as everyone else.. but if they release the album or don’t release the album.. he is Axl F’n Rose.. he will do it or won’t do it.. move on .. at least there is Velvet Revolver… *laughs*
Yes… *raises hand* I have heard some of the tracks .. and they are not bad..
Anyway… it was just a thought I wanted to share with the five or six of you whom read this shit… I was too lazy to post in it’s entirety on some other jackass(s) site what I really thought of the whole GNR thing…
So.. I have been going through this fight club bug lately.. been quoting the movie here and there with people I actually physically talk to on a day to day basis. I need to just sit down and watch the movie.. it will get it out of my system.. but I am not supposed to talk about it …
FINALLY… the TRUCK IS ABOUT TO GET FIXED!! I could have had this done a while back but here is the thing .. in my part of town.. getting the truck fixed would run me about … 3500 to 4k… where as if I can get it down to my uncle’s I can get the motor work done for let’s say.. 1300?? I plan on other expenses also .. but even at under 2k it is a much better investment..
I’m stocked.. I need the truck back…

I woke up to Vanessa exclaiming how there is a bird stuck in the chimney! Being a first time chimney owner I was a bit stumped on what to do.. Vanessa went to work, and I went back to sleep.
After a nice long rest I wake up around ten thirty. I go downstairs, turn on the TV and I hear flapping of some wings coming from the chimney. I head over towards the chimney and I start messing with the lever to see if the hatch is open or closed.. hoping that the bird would be smart enough to see it was either opened or closed. If the latch was open the bird would fly out… I was wrong..
I call the landlord to have them come deal with the problem since my only other option was to start a fire in the fireplace. 1st. It would either motivate the bird to leave or it would get cooked to death. 2nd. It would suck because in the middle of summer starting a fire in the fireplace is not exactly the best idea.. and when the bird was crispy it would more then likely stink up the house… bad idea there too..
Just after dinner this evening and waiting for the landlords to show up, Vanessa comments; “I am just waiting for that bird to fly through the living room.. I would just shit.” Just as she finished that sentence I shit you not.. the bird flew right out of the fire place and into the living room. Vanessa yelped and I laughed… I managed to follow the bird into Ami’s room and I closed the door behind me. The girls were on the other side all freaking out shit.. I knocked out the screen in the window and the bird flew out of the room and back out into the world… but not before it hit the window above the opened one. It was a chuckle..
I read this on another site and wanted to share incase you lived in a cave.. Edgy comic George Carlin dies at 71. I could reference many movies.. or skits but like before I think I will pass on this and just say Bummer…

Have you ever woke up and you stomach was all kinds of pissed off? This morning when I woke up I felt like I had an Alien trying to kick through my stomach.
I rushed to the bathroom and dispensed an entire colony of nastiness. Several times.. I thought my ass was going to rip open another hole to dispense of the rivers of shit faster… it was nasty.. even the dog ran outside so she could get fresh air.
When I finally recovered.. I thought I drove past a FEMA truck.. but it was only Fed Ex.. driving by my house not stopping to bring the wife her phone… *shrugs*

So today I get a phone call from my wife telling this site had been hacked… When I get home I pull up the site and some jack ass rag head or someone posing as a jack ass raghead actually “hacked” this site.. by means of replacing the index file.. *golf clap*
I knew how to do that years ago ..
So after undoing his “damage” which consisted of deleting his stupid little paki-english index file I was up and running .. here is to you mr. l33tist.. He probably rented Hackers on Beta Max.. and though he could be Zero Cool ..

So I have been getting that bug once again to purchase another cel phone.. but here is the thing.. I want to stick with the palm treo phones.. I LOVE MY PHONE!! They why upgrade you ask? Simple.. because I have the 700P and I want the 755P for no other reason then it is BLUE.. heh..
Stupid I know … if I wasn’t married I would so be purchasing this phone … but that wouldn’t be fair since the wife wants the centro.. *rolls eyes* and it wouldn’t be nice if I upgraded to a second treo and she is still left with the first Katana.. a phone she claimed to hate when I was using it I might add…
I want a Mac too… but you know .. same as the phone .. I mean I can’t just have Windows…. can’t just have Linux… now I have to have Mac too!! My friend may have a working Leopard OS for PCs.. if that is the case and I can get it to work on my desktop then that would make me happy….

Ever since I reopened my braindamage email I seem to get a couple of more spam emails in my inbox.. For example I had three emails offering me to “upgrade your penis..” I have never had any complaints about my fortitude.. so I opted to pass on the offer.. *laughs* Fortunately Gmail is still kicking ass on the spam guard side of things so I still don’t receive much crap like that..
With all the years I have had my gmail account I can’t believe I didn’t think of having my domain emails forward to my gmail account. It was definitely a good move… less junk mail and less headache of me having to update my spam filters on the sever.
Found a couple more people I went to school with on Facebook. I only cared to add one person tho since we were friends back in the day….
Is it me or are you having a harder time trying to remember shit from high school and back the longer time passes…

So today was my day off but since today is my mom’s birthday I decided to spoil her as much as possible..
Vanessa and I keep invading mom’s work… first we went to her work before picking her up and invaded her desk with Balloons and misc decorations.. then we returned at lunch time to bring her home made enchiladas… and then we returned once more to pick her up and give her cards and gifts… *smiles* I am sure she liked all the attention.
I even brought her by the house to pick up some birthday dessert … a lemon chiffon dessert thing that she likes… *smiles*
Oh yeah… back to me.. I received an email from Intel offering me a free sneak preview showing of The Dark Knight Returns..

High School Reunion What???

Ok.. in the past you have heard me go on and one about my distaste for myspace and how it is full of little emo whores whom “collect friends” like trading cards. I have this vision where people would have like scrap books with pages inside containing baseball card like pictures of other my space members where once in a while you might receive a stale piece of gum as a prize for your trouble… *shrugs*
Damn… that was a pretty good analogy..
Anyway.. the point I am getting at is .. I actually enjoy facebook. There are people on there I know for real.. as in went to school.. worked together… currently work together and I don’t think you are a fag bag.. served time together.. etc..
With in the last month I named off some people whom I had met up with… all of them but one were from high school.. Today on facebook I get a friend request from someone I didn’t really “know” from high school.. but we knew each other through both middle school and high school.. so I was like yeah ok sure. After adding him I searched through his buddy list only to find people whom I have not talked to or seen since around the time I blew out of high school like a rocket.. *shrugs* Interestingly enough most of them resided in either Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, or LA.. I figured they would have infested into lets say.. Texas? With all of that horrible country crap they wore I would not have been surprised…
I can see people swapping facebook addresses at the next reunion.. and that really bothers me… *shrugs*
Oh yeah… and I have to tell you the funniest shit I have heard in a while… A customer calls the store looking for a cd… one of my fellow supervisors takes the call. The customer was wanting to know if we had a Donny Osmond CD in stock… “From Donny with Love” was the name of the cd.. the supervisor asks over the radio if someone in media could check to see if it was in stock.. someone replies.. “What category is that in?? RAP????” I SHIT YOU NOT!!! I laughed… and cried…
Not a big Osmond fan what so ever.. but seriously.. they are a little bit of a known family… *rolls eyes*

I have been trying to find an instant messenger program for my phone that does not suck! So here is the dilemma… I really like IM plus but I am not going to pay $30.00 for an instant messaging program..
It is not because I am cheap ass.. I don’t instant message enough through my phone.. EVER to want to pay that much money for it.. I have Mundu but it does not run in the background … which can be annoying..
I am trying to find a working copy of Verichat since it is now defunct.. but who knows how that is going to go yet..
Since I started the above entry I went with Mundu IM since apparently the new version seems to not be so annoying. It doesn’t support myspace messenger which is fine.. since myspace SUCKS!! but as long as it will run in the background I am happy… so far so good.
So… today was another day off from work… it was kind of nice.. I really didn’t do much of shit. I sat around and watched TV… cleaned the house.. put away my DVD’s (not sure how the stack on the floor was started) and .. nope .. that’s it I didn’t forget anything …
I checked out this local kc website.. it has a forum on there for people to post whatever stupid shit is on their mind. I signed up .. waited five minutes for the email to come across so I can be “activated” and now I am in the “you have to sit on your hands and wait for some jackass to approve you phase.”
Seriously .. what is with all of the security.. its stupid.. when you signed up there was the whole what numbers do you see bit, then there was a “trick question” to make sure you were from KC or some stupid shit… you have to be auto approved in an email .. and now someone has to personally bestow their blessing to allow your presence on their stupid ass forum by choose yes or not.
HOW FUCKING STUPID!! I mean I am on much more interesting boards with less ridiculous security.. I know this fucker too.. and his ex wife.. I went to school with the ex wife.. and we used to drink together .. he is a retard… I should email him and tell him all of this but I am sure there is a chance he will see this page and he can read himself what I think of his “talk” site.

The Latest Wordpress Upgrade…

The latest wordpress upgrade was applied to the site, and the entire admin page is different. Not like going from XP to Vista different but none the less there are some changes..
I am sure there are reasons why Wordpress was upgraded besides the “We wanted the admin page to look pretty” feature, but whatever…
I think I might change my chrisichrist.com website, not really sure what the hell I would do with it .. I am debating on whether or not I will even keep it. It never has served a purpose … *shrugs*
Does anyone ever use those stupid ass shortcut keys on their keyboards? I just noticed them … and I assigned shortcut keys to them.. but I think I might poop in my hand before I actually remember of care to even use them? I never really understood the point of these keys? This goes for the CD player keys… the home key… email key… messenger.. calculator.. or sleep key as well… the ONLY keys I ever use besides the actual key board keys is the volume control.. am I the only one??? *shrugs*
Why do people have to be such assholes??? Get over the fact that I am now what you should have been? Stop acting like you have a role in the matter..
