Xanga.. MySpace… Facebook… Blogger.. AIM.. Yearbook… Cheese and Crackers.. I mean seriously how many fucking blog pages do I really need?

I don’t.. however since my friends seem to be scattered all over the net with their own blog(s), then I have to have an account on there to view them. The only one I really use is facebook… for some reason, that damn site is entertaining to me and my cat..

In a conversation I had with a friend the other day we both agreed that having all of these “social network sites” and then trying to keep up with all of these pages suck sweaty mildew balls, and we refuse to use or maintain multiple blog(s).

If I could “take down” sites on the internet, I would not attack government sites, secret clubs, or shit like like that. I would take down myspace, yearbook, and all of those chicken jerking sites out there where people socialize and “collect” friends.

I went to the doctors office today to have my back looked at since Vanessa swears up and down that I have some sort of kidney infection. Apparently she is wrong, but I still need to go get x-rays done so they can figure out why I have these sporadic pains.

Oh well, at least I was able to stop by my favorite clothing store and pick up some new pants for work. I also picked up a cool iron maiden shirt. If you live in KC you know how much driving through Metcalf sucks. I don’t ever make a point to drive near or on that road.

Since I was already over there to see the doctor it was a different story..

This will give the pot heads something to “toke” about… heh .. Legislators aim to snuff out penalties for pot use .. interesting.

My media server was not messed up… well in a sense it was.. reformatting still helped it.. but the server it self was not having problems.. iTunes.. to my surprise was not the problem.. it was my all mighty router.. which I still believe kicks ass!! (Netgear Mimo)

Apparently, when you have a certain firewall setting enabled on the router (SPI Firewall), it tends to make streaming itunes over a network buffer like a babbling teenager about to lose his virginity. Now I would never recommend turning off firewalls… however I have so much other shit enabled (wep, ssid disabled, mac addy specific, etc.) it would take someone knowing what they are doing to really be able to fuck with my network.

So yeah .. I removed that … and itunes was all happily streaming once again. Got it all cleaned up and everything is running all kinds of happier… *thumbs up*

If you have not been watching Burn Notice then you need to start.. now.. set you Tivo.. DVR… download past episodes and get on board with this shit! The show is freakin awesome! The casting is solid.. the stories are good… go check it out…

I picked up the DVD out of recommendation from someone and I started watching the week before the second season started. After the second episode I set the DVR and just now am almost completely caught up with the series.

Today was the day I provided Xanga with my annual post reminding them I think they suck… *shrugs* It’s childish and stupid.. but so is some of the shit my boss has me do.. but… anyway… click on the link if you want to see my horrid xanga page..

Remember yesterday when I mentioned how I might watch some of those dvd’s I have not watched yet? Still haven’t watched any of them…

I am thinking like many vacations we take… you never get the things you really wanted to do accomplished…

The movie was awesome!! Worm food or not, Heath Ledger was awesome in this movie! His Joker was amazing!! I honestly was unsure if I thought he was going to do as well as Jack, etc. but he pulled it off rather well!

Katie Holmes replacement sucked tho. She looked like this sad puppy dog pathetic person trying to do the best she could, but knew she couldn’t and thus her character would have been better being killed off then continuing on in the movie.. Yes… she sucked.

I enjoyed the movie, the special effects, the movie was huge and from the begining the Joker stole the show… Go see it .. it’s worth it.

My friends and I were all into the movie, enjoying our pizza’s, soda’s and free swag. Unfortunately for my one of my friends won the intel processor to die for .. and my other friend one a processor and mother board. I would tell you what they were, but I don’t remember at the moment..

Oh well I got a cool key chain at least… the only bad thing about the experience was I got home around three in the morning after hitting the bars after the movie.. and four hours later I was getting up and going to work… *thumbs down*

Anyway… it’s worth the hype.. go see it… do download it.. whatever…

So .. tonight I am going to see the Dark Knight… for free… yeah … I know … I am part of the Intel Retail Edge program.. check it out and get yourself signed up!! Then you can get and go to cool shit too!!

I’m pretty stoked about it since I have been a fan of the Batman franchise for a while now .. and I really like the new series with Christian Bale. The whole Heath Ledger being dead boo hoo-lery makes no difference to me what so ever…

Anyone whom is a fan of the original Transformers, will remember, kids locked them selves up in the bedroom because Optimus Prime was killed off, Megatron was a Walther P38 and Chris Latta was awesome as the voice of Starscream.

The original series only lasted three years in the United States. Some people felt that was because season 3 was not as great as the previous seasons. Others were pissed off at how poorly Rodimus Prime was as a replacement leader etc.

In Japan the series continued, erasing the events of “Season 4″ a.k.a. “The Rebirth” After season three there was “Headmasters“, “Super-God Masterforce“, “Victory“, and “Zone.”

I have been reading all about these continuations of the Transformers universe and wondering how it lasted much longer over seas then it did in the states.

I kind of liked how it was wrapped up in the states, but I think they should have at least gone with a true season 4, a.k.a. Transformers Headmasters in Japan. The more I have seen of the series, the more I enjoy it, and I will eventually get my hands on the Headmaster’s DVD.

The three other series following “Headmasters” didn’t seem all that interested and sounded like they pretty much sucked in my opinion as they go completely away from all of the characters from the previous seasons. *shrugs* what do I know …

What is my point in all of this? If you liked the original Transformers before Beastiality Wars, or any of the other shitty knock off’s then check out Headmaster’s.. it’s a little cheesy .. but pretty good.

You can find the some clips on YouTube.. (what a surprise.) and the DVD’s seem to only be available on Ebay…

The way I look at it .. even if the Headmasters DVD sucks.. it will be a better ending then the one the US gave us..

Being part of the Intel retail program has many benefits. Many of which I do not take advantage of.. however being a Batman nut I do get a free early screening of the new Dark Night Movie thur night… and believe me I will be there..

Speaking of Batman… I picked up all three seasons of the 90’s cartoon (which was the best of all the Batman cartoon’s) at Best Buy for like half price. Some promotion they are doing for the Dark Night.. The family started watching them with me last night.. Vanessa and I enjoyed them where Ami didn’t appreciate the nostalgic aspect of the series since she wasn’t even born yet.. and the wife and I were still in high school..

I honestly do not think Windows Vista is all that bad.. I mean there was after all Windows ME… and Bob.. 6 and a half service packs for Windows NT…

So.. I have been eye balling the new Treo 800w.. It has potential of being a pretty cool phone with the whole wifi factor built in. For about a minute I had a chubby.. then I realized two important factors..

1. I don’t give a shit about wifi because I have a disgustingly awesome employee plan which gives me an assload of minutes and vision, etc so wifi really wouldn’t matter..

2. It appears to only be available in windows mobile… Sadly I believe Palm OS doesn’t have much left to offer the world anymore.

However.. I am still considering checking out the phone just a little bit more. *shrugs* maybe if I can screw Sprint around enough they would give it to me for a really good price.. heh

We shall see..

I am afraid, my desktop is on it’s last leg.. It runs like shit now. Can’t play video’s on youtube with out it running extremely slow, it lags for no reason and now it can’t play a song with in iTunes with out losing connection. (my itunes it streamed off my media server).

I am sure a new pc that would run half way decent wouldn’t cost me much if I go about it in an intelligent fashion. There was a badass machine at work for under 400 that had a quad core processor, etc but by the time I was about to buy it my guys sold it. (damn them for doing their job right?)

So I have to resort to only using my notebook for all my needs. In a sense that is fine. The notebook could assfuck every desktop in this house simultaneously with out breaking a sweat.. so whatever.. just annoying when one is doing projects where two pc’s at once is handy.

I have a question .. what is the big fucking deal about Angelina Jolie? I personally think she is absolutely hideous! Yes… I am serious.. her lips creep me out .. I think she is just nasty and creepy looking. I don’t think I have ever seen in anything where I went.. wow she is hot!! I just don’t get it…

Someone at work was telling me about Mortal Kombat vs. DC? What?? Why?? I mean seriously… I thought the whole Mortal Kombat thing was done.. I guess I was wrong.. I saw the video clips and honestly.. I am not amused… *shrugs*

When I drove to work yesterday I passed an AT&T Store… and I remembered the new iPhone came out .. not sure what the big deal is personally.. It doesn’t have anything so substantial that the treo’s or the new instinct has to offer .. and then some..

*shrugs* I am thinking I need to upgrade from the Treo 700p to the 755p. the “P” key on my phone is sticking from dropping it one too many times and it gets annoying when you are trying to text.

I need to read up and see if the battery life is any better also. My problem is I load the phone down with so much shit it is really my own fault that the battery doesn’t last more then a day anyway. *shrugs*

Speaking of loading shit down on my phone, I downloaded facebook mobile to my phone. Facebook is a tad better then myspace since it isn’t as much of an attention whore.. but I still have to remind people at work I will not add them just because we work together. I actually have to know you and like you.. those two things are very important.. the later especially.

The program is kind of cool, and I dig it. If I was still in high school and I wanted to document every stupid little thing I do this application would be great. Since I do not… the phase of interest passed in about a day. It just makes it easier to update my poop related comments… Chris is… taking a poop thinking about the iPhone..

People tell me all the time they get a kick out of my Chris is… + poop comments… *shrugs* glad I can entertain.

*looks at clock* Fuck!! I have to go get ready for a meeting… AT 7:00 AM!!!! ARGH!!!!!

So I was hanging out with the family the other day and we were talking about telephones. Somehow they got onto the subject years ago before cordless phones they used to have telephones in the bathroom.

For some reason, I was just blown away by this. They were all talking like it was the norm. When I asked why in the hell they would have a phone in the bathroom their response was, “Well that way we could answer the phone silly, we didn’t have cordless phones back then”

I was kind of hoping for a less obvious answer. I just can’t imagine ever wanting to have a phone installed in the bathroom.. not alone talking on it while you are using it.. “Hello?? … plop… oh hey how are you!! pffffft!! *flush*

Whatever… I decided to do something more with my webcam besides have the shitty bottom graphic and the same old picture posted there for months on end. The camera will actually update every three to five minutes.. so .. for the two of you whom check out the web cam a couple of times a year you should definitely see a different picture when you visit. Then again I might get bored and take it down after a while.. who knows… In the meantime…

I spent most of the day today gathering more movies to watch.. the Bucket List.. Be Kind Rewind.. and Grindhouse… I am thinking Grindhouse might be a piece of shit .. but whatever .. if it is, it’s no loss really.

I think I am going to crash now…

It seems my direct manager is a lot like my old DM at Radioshack.. which is good and bad… it’s good because I have dealt with this shit before… it’s bad because I was miserable the last time around. *shrugs*

I will just do the same thing I did last time.. deal with it.. try to stay off the radar.. and create a character of him on Smackdown and beat the piss out of him.. it’s good therapy that way… *smiles* I should just randomly blurt out in a conversation with him how I am picturing grabbing him by the throat and throwing him off a 50 foot cage.. then watching his body bounce on the floor a couple of times after the initial splat.. *laughs*

I’m sure I would be relieved from my job after that.. and that would be bad…. I actually like the job.

Waiting for the phone call from my uncle telling me my truck is ready is like waiting to get something in the mail.. *laughs*

I am a bit cranky this morning.. not sure if it’s because of work.. or because the electric company wants $200.00. or because I am still tired..
