So in my space time I have been working on how you can remove vocals from a song. I have tried Winamp, Soundforge, Wavosaur and Goldwave. What I have learned is that unless you have the hours to spend removing various bits of a song, there is no sure fire way to remove the vocals of a song every time.

That sucks… I wanted a song as my ringtone without the vocals. *shrugs* that’s ok though because I learned how to do something else instead. One more thing I now know I can do on a PC.. yippee!

After having the GTA3 pager tone as my text messenger tone, someone finally recognized where it was from. *laughs* He asked me to send him the tone through out the morning so when I had a chance I beamed it to him. *smiles* It entertains me he was the only one.. I do get people whom ask me where the tune is from..

Some of them have even played the game..

Eight bad reasons to have sex I disagree with; “Revenge: The most popular very-wrong reason to have sex, revenge sex never ends well.” I have been on both sides of this and I cannot complain either way.. who gives a shit if it ends badly? No disease? Check.. find another pissed off person of the opposite sex.

A few years ago I had this really kick ass adhesive which would allow me to hang a poster on the wall without having to use thumb tacks, staples, etc. I remember this because I needed to find it again so I could hang up my Pink Floyd poster in my office. It’s a pain in the ass when you have a wall made of concrete.. kind of limits your options ya know?

After living in this house for a little over a year I am finally decorating my office with something other then a book shelf full of Transformers.

My boss has been on vacation the past week and I didn’t even notice he was gone until half way through his vacation. Too bad he returns on Tuesday. Luckily I will be gone the first two days he returns to work. *thumbs up*

Just when I thought I was done working on my notebook, I learned that whatever program was on my computer messed up even more things in the registry.

I tried to change my background and screen saver but “Windows” wouldn’t allow me. After doing more research on the internet this nasty I downloaded on to my computer also jacked with my registry and removed my ability to customize the my notebook..

When I would click on a link from Google or what not, it would re direct me to some advertising website. Not sure how in the hell they got on my notebook… but it was annoying. Here we go again!

So… I ran Spybot and found more nasties… ZLob.. and .. starware…

ZLob is gone.. but starware keeps showing up.. DAMMIT! working on that too… I feel like I am on a quest or something … *shrugs* oh well.. whatever.. I will get rid of it … after a couple of scans… it is all gone..

In all my years I have messed around on the computer I have never had a virus as nasty as the one I received over the last few days. I would say it taught me a lesson and it did.. (Nod32 rocks) but I am not going to hose down my machine with a bunch of bullshit software to keep me safe while the computer wishes I put a bullet in it.

Speaking of computers…

I heard about this at work and thought I would check it out .. The Mojave Experiment Basically Microsoft takes a bunch of Vista haters and tells them there is a new os for them to try and see if they liked it better then Vista.

When they tried this “new OS” they loved it.. and then it was revealed to them it was actually Vista.. LOL people are so stupid!

Since I have not had a lot of time to spend with the kiddo lately I loaded up Smackdown vs Raw 2008. It was kind of fun playing with the wife and kid. I know Vanessa doesn’t care for the controls as much as the previous game, but it was still fun for the three of us to play.

Ami has come a long way in the game, she was helping her mom a lot when I was tied up beating the snot out of one of the opponents. I offered to have a two on one match with the two of them against me but they declined. Not sure why.. I was curious how they would do.. *frowns* I think they heard the stories of when my friends would gang up on me.

I acquired the new Manson CD. Since I have seen the Max Payne trailer I have been playing the shit out of “If I was your vampire”. I figured I would check out the rest of the album. I liked Mechanical and Holy Wood, and I even picked up Lest We Forget Best Of.. so what the hell.. from what I have heard thus far it sounds pretty good.

A sequel to Resident Evil: Extinction? I never saw the third installment and I am unsure whether or not I would want to see the forth. However I am a huge fan of Sienna Guillory’s portrayal of Jill Valentine so .. if she is in the forth movie then perhaps I will watch it.

Truthfully.. that is the reason I didn’t watch the third movie.. because Sienna Guillory wasn’t in it.

*blech* time to stop playing on the puter…

I don’t know about the rest of you but I was unimpressed with the movie line up this summer..

It goes with out saying The Dark Knight rocked my nads and everyone else’s since it broke so many records. However it just seemed to me the summer movie line up was pretty much a chicken jerk…

Unless I missed something … *shrugs*

HOWEVER… with the movies coming out in the next couple of months I have to tell you I am looking forward to the fall line up…

Max Payne looks like it has potential of being cool…

The new James Bond looks like it’s going to be good too.. no more gay shit like they produced during the Brosnan era. (Aside from GoldenEye his movies sucked)

Righteous Kill .. (yes I mentioned that before too.. and I am stoked)

Not sure I give a fuck about Harry Potter. The last one didn’t do much for me and I don’t really give a shit when it comes out.

Kind of looking forward to seeing these flicks… (not Potter, the other ones)

Well after many attempts of removing the nasties from viruses and spyware I finally found something that would remove it. I hate to say it, but Kaspesky let me down… I tried Trend … Kaspersky… Spydoctor… Spyroot Spysweeper and Antivirus… Panda.. Avast.. (not at the same time) I have a tool which runs all of them one after another…

None of them could shake it .. but Nod32… so what I am trying to say is … USE NOD32!!!

Unlike Norton and McAfee where they seem to infect the computer more then help it.. Nod pulled through.. yaay no backing up.. yaay no reinstalling windows.. etc.

I saw this picture on the bathroom stall and it made me laugh..

A while back I mentioned with the new meds I have took I was feeling a little different. Fortunately I do not have the rapid fire shits or the severe sleepiness going on.

I do find myself sleeping more now. Nothing too extravagant, but on my days off I go from six hours of sleep to ten or eleven. I could complain but why … *laughs* sleep is good.

At least I am feeling better now, and that is the most important thing.

I WANT MY FUCKING TRUCK BACK!

Well I thought I had rid myself of the nasty viruses and spyware which unloaded onto my notebook a couple of days ago, and fucked everything up. It found like 277 instances of crap explaining why my computer went from happy to super pissed off. Once the first scan was completed it disabled my ability for explorer.exe to load automatically.

Well once I “fixed” that problem some nasties showed back up onto the computer. At present Kaspersky and Spyware Doctor are running and hopefully remove the rest of them for me..

In all of the years I have downloaded things from the internet, this is the first time I have ever received a virus and / or spyware that just exploded all over my computer and pissed it off in ways I have never seen before.

Fortunately I have the tools to unfuck the computer, it is just time consuming. Worst case scenario is I just format windows and start over. I am just unsure how that will affect my Linux install / loader.

Seriously tho.. this is a nastie… and my shit be fucked yo! It’s kind of funny in a sucks to be you kind of way.

A couple of days ago on my day off, I had the pleasure of attending a leadership meeting at work. The meeting was a bitch session about things I could not tell you had anything to do with why we were all there.

After the meeting ended, the tech sup and I had an additional meeting with our manager. Our manager tells us the meeting the tech sup and I conducted last week received some bad feedback we did not email an agenda prior to the meeting, etc. Because of the bad feedback, there will be a write up issued to myself and the tech supervisor.

To no surprise I had a problem with this course of action.

For starters, the meeting contained fellow supervisors in the store. There was not a manager present. Since there was not a manager at they meeting How can any manager determine what was good or bad about the meeting. Was it because one supervisor complained? Yes.. and I know who it was. When I called that supervisor out, my manager completely denied that it was a certain supervisor. He told me there were “multiple complaints” I asked what supervisors complained. I informed my manager I had spoken with all of the sups after the meeting and only one complained.

My manager refused to provide me with further information about “the complaints” but told me the tech sup and I would still receive write ups for conducting a poor meeting.

Let’s think about this, the management team wants to “develop” the supervisors more so we can grow in our positions, etc.. etc.. etc.. but yet if you make a mistake you are going to be punished and written up? That’s bullshit..

After making that very point and telling my manager it was bullshit, I left the room. Naturally the tech sup has no balls and didn’t speak up at all about our “punishment”

I vented to one of my fellow supervisors over breakfast and I decide to call one of the other managers (whom is in charge of HR related issues) and get his advice regarding the situation.

He doesn’t say much but that he agrees the situation could have been handled much better. That’s cool, you can’t bad mouth someone of your same position (or at least you shouldn’t).

The next day I receive a text message on my phone from my manager that he; “changed his mind about the write up.” Heh… mother fucker..

I wonder what was said to him? I wish I could have been a part of that conversation.. When I return to work the tech sup comes up and thanks me for standing up to our manager. *rolls eyes* he is a weiner..

So that’s a day in the life of Mister Chris..

I picked up some DVD’s today, The Birds Of Prey series and the final season of Las Vegas. I need to finish my Headmasters DVD set too.. I think I am on the second disk of that series.

I almost picked up the Sarah Connor Chronicles, but I decided against it. I enjoyed the first season of SCC, but I do not think I really care whether or not I watch it again.

How can I have missed a new movie coming out with De Niro and Pacino starring together? Heat was the shit!! This movie looks to be as great or better!! Righteous Kill

*venting* If you have been reading my crap for a while then you have an idea of how much I hate attention whores, emo’s or people that just collect friends on a social network site to make themselves feel more important in the virtual world.

Usually because in the real world I feel they are a loser…

As I have pointed out before I do not “add” people to my “friends” list if they are either people I do not know.. or people I do not wish to be a member of their “collection.”

There is a third rule that follows…. if I do not like the person in real life, chances are I am not going to proclaim friendship in the virtual world.

I know.. I know.. I am an ass… you can never accuse me of being fake.. or misleading. My ego appreciates people’s attempt to want to be friends with me in cyber space where all their friends with their social networking interwebs can read all about their wonderful adventures of suck… but when you are out there “collecting” just know that if I do not like you, I will not be adding you..

Why keep contact with people you do not like? *shrugs*

Give me a tissue.. Wrestler tosses aside bronze medal not sure why he would be upset since he did win a medal .. Despite the article and whether one agrees or disagrees with this to act like a four year old in front of the world just seems rather pathetic.

Through a mutual friend on the myspace I came across a profile of someone I used to be friends with a few years back. Nathan and I stopped talking after he went completely psycho.

I almost want to send him a, “hello asshole how are things in nut job land?”, “Are you still as loony as I remember or are you rolling your shit into little balls and eating them now?” but I think I will pass on that opportunity and let the sleeping dog lie. As a matter of fact, he may occasionally visit this site as it has been around since we were friends eight years ago.. so if he does.. then I just said what I would want to say to him.. *laughs*

Apparently he is religious now… christian… Granted that doesn’t say much for what specific christianity he practices believes in.. or whatever.. but I am sure it is the group whom all walk around thinking they are right and everyone else is wrong. That judge mental prick and his church are all probably worth the balls of shit I mentioned earlier in this post.

Sharing my thoughts on this matter ended up longer then I expected.. I think the point was, I started thinking about how out of his fucking rocker he was passing judgment, living in the past, and acting like a complete ass.

Anyway… so I am over one of the meds I have been prescribed. At least the rapid fire shitting should cease. Only towards the end of the meds did I learn from a pharmacist that I could take something to counter that. Still go through small spells of wanting to take a nap.

Vanessa has been sitting here next to me reading me tid bits of some dude whom wanted to snack on a passenger while on a greyhounds bus. I guess I missed this one.. 40-year-old suspect held in gruesome Manitoba bus killing She has been sitting here for the past hour reading about how Peta made some stupid ass comments about it, the victims ear was found in this guys jacket, etc.

I guess when I need to go somewhere far away I will either fly or drive myself. That way I won’t have to worry about being someone’s snack because we passed the convenient store. It’s morbid, but funny.. but sad…

Once again I remember how much I hate this fucking product. I get at least five people a day asking me about Norton or how they or someone they know will be fixing their computer and putting Norton on there.

It angers me how stupid people are and how much of a fuck in the ass Norton does to your computer and to your “computing experience”.

I think if I ever ran into Peter Norton, I would shit on his face… and cram a copy of his crappy software up his ass sideways.. that way he will feel what a computer feels like with his crappy software installed on it.
