What is ethical about taking a life?

Sounds more like judge and jury to me.. sorry no home.. no life.. I think of people like Lacy Connor whom support PETA to the fullest. Or Alicia Silverstone, Carrie Underwood, Natalie Portman, Bryan Adams, Pink, Eva Mendes, James Cromwell, Corey Feldman, etc.

Does this mean they will be rewarded the Paws of Fame Award by the Wildlife Way Station for his dedication to animal rights when they support an organization whom claims to protect animals, but instead is a slaughterhouse for the homeless?

Wait.. let me stop for a moment on that thought… let’s say there would be “slight” justification for euthanizing animals whom have been injured and would have a hard time living a normal life.

I have seen some pictures of some horrible shit done to animals and no creature should have to live like that… Ok they might have a “slight” point.. very minor..

I had to vent… that is the one of the nice things about having this site… I can say whatever the hell I want to… like FUCK YOU PETA! and everyone whom supports that slaughter house.

So we received what most think is the last bit of snow for the season. It was quite an interesting storm. It was so dead at work I volunteered to go home early due to lack of interest.

Glad I did too as the weather became progressively worse. Today on the other hand, it is going to be at the highest of 47 and tomorrow 58. I love the Midwest.. pffft. not really… the weather blows…

I keep looking down at the clock to see how much longer I can fuck around before I have to get ready for work… I really do not want to go. I am so bored of what I do. I think I need a new challenge, don’t get me wrong I like the company I work for but when you talk to the same people day in and day out asking the same questions and getting the same answers it really makes you want to hate people.

When I was a tech at least things were entertaining… I think I might keep my ear to the ground and work my way back to that department.

*yawns* I must go get ready for work…

March 21, 2009 marks the tenth anniversary of nowayinhell.net! That’s right kiddies, I have been staining the internet like tracks in a pair of underwear with the nowayinhell name for ten years!!

What does that mean? nothing really, but I argue with anyone whom says I do not stick with some of my commitments! *laughs*

I purchased a new car stereo at work Tuesday. It’s pretty bad ass.. Blue tooth stereo support… Bluetooth speaker phone.. iPod hook up, CD player (for the kid), .. cd changer… (my old one still works with it).. remote.. (pfft) .. it’s pretty bad ass.. much better then using those shitty assed wireless FM transmitters..

I don’t care who makes them.. they all suck!

A direct input jack for my iPod is much better.. now I can jam with my ipod in the car with out static, etc. I have also found myself increasing my itunes library by about 1200 songs over the course of the week. Just when I think I have all the music I listened to when I grew up, I see something else and I go … “OH YEAH!! I REMEMBER THAT SHIT!!” Then I rip the cd to itunes…

I think most would be surprised by the range of music I enjoy… Phil Collins, Quiot Riot, Tom Petty, Korn, Manson, Eminem, Billy Joel, Blues Brothers, etc.

I do dig the Bluetooth stereo as I can always resort to using it to listen to XM in the car without having a radio.. Even if I forget my ipod, I can use my phone to listen to online radio. For example, I listened to my friends streaming radio station while I was out running errands last night..

Since Starplayr went to shit, I found a new application for my XM streaming. I even like it better then starplayr.. The installers left my cd changer hooked up since my new radio still supports it, but I see little use for it.

Basically the option for local radio is kind of pointless to me. Local radio sucks and every fucking time I tune to a station I either get a commercial or the last bit of a song then it goes to commercial.

I HATE COMMERCIALS!! I don’t even watch live TV anymore for that reason! When you see shit on TV like that fuckin meat commercial with the people on the plane rhyming about the food and then doing the locomotive while stepping off the plane makes me want to turn into a vegetarian!

Anyway.. I am liking the bluetooth in the stereo.. pretty tight..

2009 will be hard, recovery in 2010 – This is kind of a no shit but still an interesting read… Especially with everyone losing their jobs or worried about losing their jobs.

I am honestly not to worried about my job. I think I do well enough for when the changes happen I may get more work, but not be eliminated. I might even get another department.. one that I would want.. Tech.

That’s about it for me… Hope everyone else is doing good…

I have gnawing at the idea of getting TV back on my PC. Since I moved to Vista and now Windows Seven I have been reluctant to get a new TV tuner card.

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and he told me he had a Sling box solo he was interested in selling for like fifty bucks!

Hell yeah..

He couldn’t get it to work on his router or some damn fool thing.. Instead of telling him how to fix it or going to his house to help him set it up, I just opted to purchase the slingbox from him and use it my self… for my desktop(s), laptop and even.. no surprise.. the treo.

I have yet set it up on my phone yet, but I do have it working on my laptop and desktop. At present I am watching TV on my notebook while I am at work playing around on the internet. No, I am not working.. I have another hour before I report in.

When you are bumming rides, you can’t be picky on when you get to work. *shrugs*

HOWEVER.. The Slingbox is nice! Now I can clean out the DVR even when I am not at home.. I am deciding on what to hook up next, like maybe a camera .. or something .. that could be cool …

If you want to be entertained away from home.. and don’t want to watch the bullshit your co workers watch in the break room.. then Slingbox is the way to go! (I have earphones on as I write this)

Vista home premium was exhausting… fucked shit up… most of your hardware didn’t work… and was basically worthless… and your choices were Vista Home.. Home Premium.. Business… Ultimate…

I upgraded to Windows RC1.. it definitely runs much better!

My phone decided to stop working this morning. It was a brick, nothing would work, it wouldn’t charge off of any of my chargers which tells me it was the phone.

I take it to my local Sprint store and explain to them the phone does not work and I ask them to fix it. This lady looks up my account and says; “Oh no, you do not have insurance”

Oh.. no shit! I knew that.. I tell her I do not need insurance, the phone is under manufactures warranty, so fix it. She tells me she cannot, and that I would need to contact Palm. I ask her why… I purchased the phone from Sprint, take care of the customer.

She gives me this lame assed example about how you cannot go through some company when you purchased it somewhere else. I ask her, “So you are telling me when I purchase a car, I have to take it to a plant in Detroit to get it fixed?”

DOH!

She takes the phone from me, and hands it to the technician. She tells him what problems I am having with the phone, and then repeats my car comment in a much snottier tone. It took everything I had to not chuckle.

The technician looks at the phone for a few minutes and tells me, it was the battery! OMFG REALLY! It was that hard? I kind of knew that, so they replaced the battery and I left.

Like it was really that fucking hard! TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES!!!

At one point in the past I was rambling about my inability to play flash video’s on my cel phone. I tried Oprah … *laughs* I meant Opera web browser lite, and full .. didn’t work… in fact I will go as far as saying Opera has a lot of work to do on the windows mobile front.. *shrugs*

Anyway.. it is cool .. I likey.. *laughs*

So my phone has twitter set up on it and I know of a couple of people whom were letting me know their status on Resident Evil 5. *laughs* It’s cool and all.. but why did I have to be stuck at work!!

I want to be home playing games!!

So.. I was informed that the past week I have been on my computer ALOT by the wife… yeah.. I’m in deep shit.. I still finished the dishes.. and I have been working on some of the laundry in the next room.. but I don’t think that is going to help me in my battle for understanding nerdism…

Problem is just when you think you have all the music you would want there is more out there you do not have! I might have to get a bigger iPod too.. or get streaming working on my cel phone..

Finally… I am trying out the latest Trillian Astra.. For some reason I find myself going back to Trillian.. I like Pidgin.. I really do.. but now that Trillian has their shit together and it does look much sexier then Pidgin.. I am thinking ..

If I were to be a tv critic, I would some up the future of the Sarah Connor Chronicles… TERMINATED. I think the first season of the SCC was pretty good, it even had a good season finale.

This year it has been mediocre, there have been some episodes which have been really good, but there have been more episodes which have been just utter shit. The FBI guy has become a joke, John is an emo, Cameron is not funny anymore, and the only way to save the show would be to *sigh* kill John Connor. I am sure I am not the first person to say it, but this variation of John Connor is a whining pussy whom needs to get laid before he kills himself. Yet as an audience we cannot wish for anything more then for John Connor to off himself.

I am watching the latest episode which started off with Cameron killing a bird! OMG! What’s next? Next episode the terminator will take out some live stock! Then maybe for the finale they will take a trip to Africa and Cameron will take on an elephant or two.
