For some reason I am absolutely hooked on Mafia Wars. I have it enabled on my facebook, and I have to check it as many times a day as possible. It is my new crack.

I have to build up my mafia.. increase my stamina.. fight other mafia’s.. and invest in properties to earn me more cash!

The fuckers at Zynga have yet created an app for windows mobile which is good and bad. It is bad because I am pissed off they have it for the fucking iPhone!

It’s good because I would just want to play it even more then I do now if I have more access to the game!

For the moment I just have to settle for the auto script I found that does some of the mundance bullshit for me, like fight people for money and increase my experience!

Haven’t dived much into the site lately..

Too tired from all the drama going on at work.. all though it should be over with in the next week! At least for me…

I enjoy the Wii.. but not nearly as much as my wife and child have. My daughter loves to play Mario Kart with me even if she is a spoiled sport. *smirks* She does enjoy kicking my tail in with Super Smash Bros. so I suppose we are even.

This evening I decided after many half assed conversations and concern of fucking up my Wii, I decided to tackle the installation of the Homebrew channel.

Unfortunately I was unable to use the Zelda hack since I have the latest update which removed the ability for me to go that route.

Fortunately I found another answer with in, bannerbomb. I worked just as well, seemed easier actually, and now I can install more shit on to my Wii. Here is the best part.. I am now able to play all of my emulators and roms from the Wii..

I can play the games with real controllers, and use a nice large ass TV for when I want to play Battletoads from the old SNES days, Super Mario Bros from NES, or just hit up a good old arcade version of Double Dragon!

I have spent most of my evening playing these games and enjoying the piss out of the fact I can now do what I have been yearning to do for a very long time with out hooking up a computer to my entertainment center.

If can set up a way to stream from my server to the Wii without going through all the extra bullshit I would be happy as pig in shit!

Anyway if you have a wii and want to play all the old games and shit I recommend checking it out …

By the way.. Homebrew, and all the crap I talked about in this post is not condoned by Nintendo.. *shrugs* fuck nintendo..

I have been off work the last couple of days, and I am pretty much off most of the day tomorrow too. (I don’t go in until 3:30 and I close @ 9).

Yesterday I went to the eye doctor to learn my left eye is a little bit less then it was three years ago when I went to the doctor. *shrugs* I am not surprised to be honest … The wife and I kind of looked at the glasses they had available at the doctors office and we decided to go check other places before we decided on a pair.

We went home afterwards, took a nap and lost interest…

Today.. the wife and I decide to check out Lens Crafters in the mall. We picked out a pair we each liked and were all set to purchase them when the lady failed to inform me my insurance wouldn’t cover the glasses until she told me the total … two glasses.. ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS!

The first thought that came to mind.. GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!

I thanked her for her time, wished her well *cough* and we left.

We returned to the eye doctor, picked out some rims, choose the les that tints in the sun, and after insurance footed most of the bill it ended up being $300.00!

300.00!! FOR BOTH PAIRS! that’s like .. umm yeah $700.00 less!!

I installed the beta of the Office… not so sure what I think yet.. it has a lot of Office 07 in it ..

I didn’t care much for the menu’s in Office 07, not sure I care much for the new version’s menu either… To me it seems like a very nicely dressed up sack of shit with extra “helpful” menus.. pffffft..

So I picked up a new TV for the wife for mother’s day. It is very sexy, it’s a 42 inch plasma and I am not sure I have seen a DVD’s look so fucking amazing.

I had a bunch of monster cables left over from my days at the Shack. Once the TV was put together I managed to rewire the entire system.

It’s been three days now and I am still amazed how awesome the picture looks. At present the wife and I are watching Lethal Weapon 3, and like I said it looks awesome!

I am not convinced yet that I need to jump on the blue ray DVD bandwagon just yet. I might find more use out of blue ray when I get a PS3.. and I am not even convinced I want that either.

Either way.. I think there is a chance I might enjoy the TV more then the wife does…

I have said this before.. and I shall say it again.. if you have an extensively large music library and all your shit is mis labeled then you are pirating music! *lol*

I would recommend Tune Up Media I have more songs then I care to admit and this program kicks ass for cleaning up all those ID3 tags.. *thumbs up* trust me, I have been adding to my library a lot the last few days and Tune up has saved me lots of time!

This made me laugh too… Corporations Plan To Pull Plug On The Free Internet not sure how this would pan out either.. *shrugs* something this big is going to be impossible to control…

As much as I enjoy Chuck I seemed to be condemned to listening to Mr. Roboto at least once a day. I really need to get this fucking song out of my head. Problem is they made the song go really well with the 1st wedding in Chuck, I just can’t help but enjoy a little bit of Roboto on my iTunes.

I think I am finished adding music to my library for now, 8300 songs should keep me entertained for a while..

The problem with iTunes is just when you think you have all the music you would want, you learn there is more you must have. When you are as much of a nerd as I am and want to listen to your music everywhere in the house, etc you have to have a good selection right?

I am reaching near 10,000 songs on my iTunes play list. I cannot believe how much time I have spent on music, creating playlists, etc. I have so much music I need a bigger iPod!

Rapidshare kicks ass..

I was generally attached to the notepad gadget on Windows Vista and Windows Seven. I found myself liking the one from Vista better then Seven. I searched the web to see if there was on similar to Vista and instead I found one which syncs up with your outlook notes. It sucks..

I found another one where it will however sync up between two computers. Now that is nice! Whatever I write on the sticky note on my desktop, will appear on my laptop, etc. If I could sync them with my treo I would be golden! Anyway.. if you want to check it out go here or here

Finally received my refunds, doesn’t help I waited until the absolute last minute to do them either but whatever. Fortunately, we were smart with the taxes this year, we took most of the money and paid off most of the credit cards and annoying bills! My desktop is now paid off, wii, etc. We are damn near debt free! It’s a good place to be with things the way they are in the economy, etc.

*belch* enough of that depressing shit..

This alone makes me want to see Revenge Of The Fallen..
