Years ago the name “Insane Children Society” came up as an organization to use when registering domain names, etc. I doubt anyone from back then still uses it, except for me.

I still use it as my organization for registering domains, or any thing else I do not take very seriously.

I was bored, and for 7.49 or less a year I could register the domain “Insane Children Society”

Why did I do this? I have no fucking idea.. I guess because it was that or taking physical money and lighting it on fire. Hmm… let’s get back to that at another time.

Moving forward.. must move forward.. I registered the domain for the specific use of hosting a forum. I hope it will become a forum where all the people I know can get together, chat, share ideas, get help, etc.

We shall see.. there was this one website I still visit where he used to have a forum, but I am unsure why it closed. Anyway it sounds like a good idea and we shall see how it turns out. *shrugs*

At least now the name will have some sort of purpose.. for now. When I get the domain up and running, I will post more information on here.

Since I have hacked my wii I have found myself spending more time playing games on that console then on the PS3.

There are a couple of things I have learned. 1. Some of the games on Wii really suck! (GIJoe, Resident Evil, Modern Warfare to name a few). 2. Some of the games on there are really slow.. (Zelda!!! OMFG) and finally.. it is nice to load an image of the Netflix disc instead of tracking down the actual CD (which I never received in the mail) and inserting it into the system before you can actually play it! (fuckers, I am sure MS had something to do with that but I could be wrong.. )

The last thing.. I will more then likely need a larger hard drive..

I am find myself still fascinated by my phone. It continues to run better then the untouched OS, and I look forward to the next update allowing 4G. I am confident it will happen. I just have to be patient. (being patient sucks!)

I finally cleaned up my office yesterday after becoming both frustrated and disgusted by how dirty it has become. I am not sure if there is a need for two desks anymore since the kid no longer comes downstairs and uses the desk. I suppose I could move my server to that desk but it would take away the current cool factor of multiple monitors on my desk. Plus the whole moving across the room is not very convenient either. (yep lazy).

Megan Fox was fired from Transformers was like a big turd passing through my ass cheeks. Finally! Yes she is hot, and that whole hood up in the first Transformers movie made me “happy” but she sucks.

Not sure if the new girl is going to be any better, or how they are going to explain Megan’s departure in the movie but I don’t care. Megan is gone!

I could create an entire list colored in all of the “celebs” I would care if ever died from a canerous bleeding rectum. A feeling I got when I would have to read another fucking news article about some bullshit they did, or how they are doing some crap I should care about.

Yes I know Farrah’s fate was similar to the one mentioned in the previous paragraph but that changes nothing about how I feel about people like Angelina Jolie, Lindsey Lohan, Kate Gosselin, Big Bird, or Mariah Carey.. just to name a few..

I think I will leave you with that.. Wii’s, Android, Transformers, Megan Fox, and people whom would be more interesting if they had canerous bleeding rectums.

After spending about an hour messing around on the internet and praying I did not brick my Wii, I managed to install a homebrew hack allowing me to “back up” my games on an external hard drive.

This is going to rock because I do not have to mess with changing disks all the time and I am sure I will find new ways to get games..

Plus I have seeing the freaking cases laying around all over the place.

If there was something like this for the PS3 I would be golden.

The kinds of things I find myself getting involved in.. the wife has got to be getting irritated with me.. *smiles*

One of my old mangers came into the store a couple of days ago and showed me his Samsung Moment but it has been Rooted. First of all I was surprised because he is not that tech savy.

Once he rebooted his phone and I learned of the program used to root his phone, I was on a quest to do it myself. (By the way he has a geek from his store do the work to his phone).

I visited sdx-developers.com and I embarked on a quest to do the same with my phone. If he could get his phone hacked, then I knew I could figure it out and do it myself.

The next day it was done, I reloaded a new imaged on my phone with root access. The first act of business was removing ALL THE SPRINT BUILT IN BULLSHIT APPS on my phone. Nascar, SFL (football), Moxier Mail, Bejeweled Demo, and misc bull shit.. all gone. It is well worth the work when you notice a significant difference in performance with the phone.

Then to make things more fun for my phone XM radio finally released their app for Android!! FINALLY!!

You can imagine my excitement right now with my phone. It would seem almost every week I find something new and cool to do with my phone.

Other then that there really hasn’t been that much excitement going on ..

Wait… I lied…

Last week I was diagnosed with Vertigo.. That sucked. I was all kinds of dizzy and I was unable to stand or walk at all. That was four days of hell.

For some odd reason the wife thought maybe I was having a stroke but I just some how knew that was not the case. Anyway it was caused by some inner ear infection blah blah..

Now that.. is all the excitement I have..

At least that is how I see it when I play Left 4 Dead 2. My character acquired a defibulator and I was like, “hey yeah give me a fuckin zombie!” Sorry asshole you can only use it to revive your team mates whom are conveniently not around when your ass is getting choke slammed by a zombie version of the Big Show from WWE.

It’s still fun cause I get to shoot stuff… I tempted to purchase a BB gun yesterday at Wal-Mart a.k.a. The Devil’s Store but I opted not to. Not sure if that was because of my childhood memories of shooting out neighbors windows and getting my ass kicked by my mom or what but moving on..

My video card started to shoot craps. The fan was rattling and making all kinds of ridiculous noises. I contacted ATI over this and they told me I could send it in and get it replaced under warranty. Tempting as that was I instead returned the video card to Best Buy, exchanged it out for an NVidia card and received a gift card for eight cents credit. Yes… Eight Cents..

I have been cycling through GTA 4, Vice City, Left For Dead 2, Aliens vs Predator on the PC. I just got my hands on Gears Of War also so add that to the list.

On the console side I am still cranking out MW2 on PS3 and SMB Wii. I invested in a third controller for both systems. The more players you have the better. It it truly a shame there are not more games where you can have multiple people playing at the same time. I have to give Nintendo props for having a larger selection of games for this.

*looks at clock* dammit I need to start getting ready for work soon.. I feel extremely lazy today..

I would rather stay home and play more video games.. *smiles*

I finally have the ability to choose from my library of media from the bedroom now and it didn’t result in me spending more money.. ) wifey should be happy)

I also replaced the firmware in my router with dd-wrt. With that will now be able to set my router to power cycle at night, block the kid from using the internet remotely when needed, better port management, etc. It’s pretty handy.

I am still crunching away at Active Directory with my win 03 server. Not sure why I am having DNS issues with some of my machines but I will get it figured out eventually.

Finally I fixed my subsonic server so I can stream my entire music library once again.

As much as I want to get a house I am going to loathe taking down all this crap and rebuilding it.. *laughs*

I think that is enough nerd talk for now.

If you have or have not heard of digsby it’s a pretty decent I’m if you ever have the urge to I’m while on your pc. I added a widget to this site to see how it would look. To be honest it doesn’t suck as much as I would expect.

If you insist on being in the know with people on ypur site check it out. You can also have your aim, facebook, etc friends all in one.

I might see if nimbuzz has something similar since I use that on my phone. If I am ever “chatting” that is where it is from…

While toying around with house hunting, juggling the drama at work, figuring out how I get this freakin Active Domain working the way I want on my network, doing laundry, spending time with the family, getting my kill on with COD, figuring out what the heck is wrong with the truck, and watching every episode of How I Met Your Mother, I felt I should take a moment and say, HEY I’m STILL HERE!!

I decided on my last trip to get my hair cut I would change up the style. I have more of less had the same hair do for three years or more now. I grew out a beard, and the hair is about an inch shorter then it is usually cut. My friends have started calling me the ‘Albino Goku’

So.. with that.. I just summarized everything I have been up to. Exciting stuff huh?

After spending my own money… and the state of Kansas money I finally found use for my time in college. Microsoft Dreamspark.

With my student email address (which I have NEVER USED) I managed to download a legal copy of windows server 2008 for free.. there are other programs up there I can grab but at least now I can run the latest server os from Microsoft and know it will be compatible with Windows 7 and Vista…

Honestly I have not done jack shit with it yet, but I will be dabbling with active directory more then anything just so I can get a better understanding on how it works and how I can use it to my advantage.

There is a possibility it could become useful to me sooner rather then later… We shall see..

Lots of things going on in my life at the moment.. almost had a new house in my grasp but it fell through… work has been crazy… and I have been nerding out on some crazy crap around the house.

Speaking of nerding out around the house, I managed to pick up a windows media center remote on Amazon for like twelve bucks. Now I can browse my movie library on the computer with out the need of a mouse or keyboard.

I started to see promise in Windows Media Center but it seemed to remain the pile of crap I always thought it was. That’s ok though the remote function really kicks ass.

That is really all the excitement I have at the moment. I am sure there is more somewhere but I will save it for later.

Who knows perhaps my next update will come from my phone while I am on the crapper. =)

As I was sitting here I realized I spend a lot of time surfing the internet reading about shit no one else I know would probably give a crap about.

Useless information to speak about so that I can bore someone with what I know preventing them the opportunity to bore me with something they have to say.. think about that..

I almost picked up a copy of PC mag because of an article featuring some interesting programs. I decided not to get the magazine but I did manage to find it on the internet.

The programs I was interested in, are all shit. I almost wasted seven dollars on a magazine full of pure disappointing shit. It’s a wonder why I do not purchase many magazines any more.

Oh yeah.. I changed the site again I wasn’t too keen on the previous layout but I managed to design one that I actually like.
